Kai x Deaf!

a/n this is not like an episode but around the first season but before the serpentine are released. and you can kinda read lips.

i get tripped from behind and fall catching myself. a young blonde boy in a skeleton outfit gets up in a rush. without a word he continues to run i, very angry i will add, chase after him. i can't speak very well it all comes out as a jumble so i don't bother. instead  grab him by the collar.

"HEY LET GO OF ME!" he yells i suppose squirming.

i'm so mad and sign to him to respect others and not to run. he stops struggling giving me a confused expression.

"huh?" he questions stopping. a hand lowers my arm and grabs the boy.

he speaks to fast for me to understand and he doesn't make it clear. i stare at him confused. he becomes angry and i notice that there are three other boys. he questions me i'm guessing but i don't know what he's asking.

i sign over to him and inquires 'what?'. he stares back at me waiting for an answer not noticing my hands and so i bring them up so he can see them and repeat myself.

they call to one of the other guys and the walk in front of me. he had very spiky hair and a red uniform. he begins to sign 'miss are you okay and did he hurt you?'.

i shake my head and begin to explain. he stops a few times to tell the others what happened. after everything he smiles and thanks me for telling him.

'if i get time off would you like to hang out we could get some tea and roller skate or something.' he asks me. he just asked me out, my first date. oh my god. i smile and nod quickly.

timeskip

my friend goes to the door and grabs me. i walk to the door and see kai, i smile automatically and he waves. i wave back.

'wanna go on a date now?' he asks. i look down at my outfit seeing as it is pretty casual and nod. he grabs my hand and we leave. we go to a café and i tell the waiter my order but he looks at me dumb-founded.

"sorry she can't speak. she'll have the sparking f/f tea i'll have the hot tea and we'll have the chocolate chip cookie platter." i guess he says since he subconsciously gestured to the items on the menu. i smile, this will be so fun.

after a few minutes of conversating the food and drinks arrive. i smile and kai thanks them for the two of us. i sip on my tea as kai does the same. 'thank you so much for bringing me here, it's very nice.'

'i used to come here often before work and stuff. speaking of work what do you do?'

'i cook at a restaurant. they just had me a receipt and i just cook that.' he nods smiling. 'what do you do?'

'it's a long story but i'm a ninja so i don't get a lot of time off.' he explains. i'm shocked. i smile up at him and nod understanding.

'that must be a really dangerous job but it sounds pretty cool.'i tell him.

1/2 an hour later

we leave the café and i head to a nearby skate rink. once we grab everything we hit the rink. we skate until it closes then leave to see it became dark. he kisses my cheek and leaves, i go back home very content.
