Draco AVPM

i was smiling brightly at diagon alley smiling brightly as the golden trio exclaim their excitement for going back to hogwarts. i can't argue with them as i too am very excited to go back to school. being a slytherin i'm not very respected but i still have plenty of friends.

"did somebody say draco malfoy!" draco exclaims strutting over to the trio.

"malfoy what do you want?" harry asks aggitated.

"so potter back for another year at hogwarts are you? maybe this year you'll wise up and hang out with the higher caliber of wizards." draco says loudly and desperate for attention. i roll my eyes walking over.

"hey guys'' i say budding in on their conversation. i feel glares and other annoyed glances fall across me.

"yes y/n?" hermione asks. granger especially despises me because of both of us battling for smartest student of the year. both of us are top of our grade and battling to be better then the other.

"well Ms. Granger i just came over to talk. that's not illegal now is it?" i respond having m resting b*tch face on as usual.

"anyway malfoy, ron and hermione are my best friends i wouldn't trade them for the world." harry says trying best to break the tension from harmione and myself.

"well isn't that cute. like a little loser family! but luckily next year i'll be transferred to pigfarts!" draco responds brightly. i snicker a bit and see his grey eyes glare at me.

suddenly music begins to play and malfoy burst into song. "this year, you bet gonna get out of here. the reign of malfoy is drawing near, i'll have the biggest wizard career! it's gonna be totally awesome"

"what the?!?!" i say shocked.

"Look you world for the dawn of the day when everyone will do WHATEVER I SAY! and potter won't be in my way. then i'll be the one who is totally awesome." he continues.

crabbe and goyle in their odd low grudgy voices agree with malfoy. i roll my eyes but can't help to hide my smile. hermione mentions the train and we all run to get onboard the hogwarts express. everyone including me break out into song as we exclaim about going back to hogwarts and adventures that will occur this year.

"i can't believe that summer has end. it feels like it has only began" i find myself singing unable to control my actions. "i wonder what this year will teach. our new teachers and adventures will reach to new extent."

it was the day of the first task. i was in the stands watching as everyone fought their dragons. it was quite ant-climatic until harry's and then it just got even more boring. instead of fighting the dragon he just sung a song to lull the dragon to sleep. i roll my eyes and just walk away. i annoyed look around for something interesting to do. i hear malfoy talking about his new reward of beheading his dragon.

timeskip to yule ball

malfoy decided to go to the ball with pansy parkinson. i went alone because i don't care about anybody really. no need to have a boy or a girl, to be honest i don't care your gender much. i walk out and coincidentally hermione walks out at the same time. her and i have been getting along a bit more now that she's been looking for more friends. i smile at her as i look at her hair half up half down. i did it but thought she was already here.

once we entered it was slightly quieter and hermione and i ignore it talkin to eachother. music was playing as one would think at a ball and i could here ron and draco singing. i ignored them and smiling went over to the punch depite it containing squirt. hermione was okay without some but i got my cup.

draco walks over to me and tries some cheesy pick up lines that i laugh awkwardly at. "so uh y/n. mind going on a date with draco malfoy? maybe you can come to pigfarts with me next year. it'll be wonderful i'm sure you would love it. you're already the smartest girl in the year." he says. i smile slightly my blush brightening from the heat in my face showing off my makeup.

"how about we go to hogsmeade this weekend. we can hang out there for a bit and talk." i suggest. draco's face lights up with happiness as he nods quickly.

"great i'll see you then i guess" he says clearly very pleased with the idea.

"we still have the same classes draco" i giggle and walk away.

the rest of the week went by slightly quicker then usual as the trip to hogsmeade grew closer and closer. finally the trip had arrived and draco and i went to hogsmeade. our first stop was the three broomsticks where we got a bit of butterbeer. we talk and laugh and he tells me all about pigfarts. i humor him and pretend to believe him and entranced by his every word. draco's smiling brightly as he explains everything about rumbleroar and how he still needs the rocket to get there but that it should be no problem.

"i'm serious though you should come to pigfarts with me. it'll be amazing and i'm certain that you'll learn more then you ever could in hogwarts. it's the best magic school in the galaxy anyway." he exclaims brightly as i sip my beverage.

"i'll think about it; i just don't now how i feel about being so far from home" i say trying to sund actually interesting.

"oh don't worry you can still commnicate with your parents. we still have christmas breaks and such" he says brightly.

"okay. if i can find a way to get to pigfarts and you go i will try to go to." i say humorously. a reaction i did not expect was a hug. draco lept from his seat and hugged me tightly.

"oh y/n i promise you; you won't regret this!" he says not letting go of his grip on my mid-section. i hug back unsure of what else to do and we leave heading to another attraction hogsmeade has to offer.
