"Come on now, bringing a gun to a knife fight isn't too fair, is it?"

'Sangwoo' had pulled a knife from his pocket, studying Levi with acute awareness. Standing beside him was the boy, looking terrified. "Stop, Sangwoo, he'll shoot you!" He whimpered and Sangwoo glared at him. "Quiet, Yoonbum!"

"Yoonbum?" Levi appeared mildly interested now, arching an eyebrow. He paused as if remembering something before he huffed out a laugh. "I thought I recognized you from somewhere. You're that pizza delivery guy, aren't you?"

Shrinking down, Yoonbum nodded timidly and Levi smirked. Sangwoo just appeared even more enraged and he raised his knife further, as if he were going to throw it. Noting this, Levi removed the safety from his gun warningly.

"Make one move and I'll shoot you and Yoonbum," he hissed. Yoonbum gave a yelp of fear and Eren stiffened. He could not, would not, see another person die. He had to do something, he had to stop the insanity Levi had created.

Lunging forward, Eren took Levi by surprise. He knocked him to the ground and wrestled the gun from his hands while Levi was stunned. Instantly he drew away, shaking like a leaf. He raised the gun threateningly.

"Nobody move," he ordered. "I'm leaving. A-and Yoonbum, you can too if you want. Your relationship does not look . . . Healthy." He examined Sangwoo with distaste and the man snarled at him, looking about ready to attack him.

"I —" Yoonbum was about to speak when Levi cut him off, stepping closer to Eren. "Eren, stop," he said, his voice gentle. "Put the gun down. Better yet, give it back to me. You know I would never hurt you with it, mon amour."

"But you would hurt them!" Eren shouted, tears gathering in his eyes. "I can't see anyone else die!" He felt the tears start to trickle down his cheeks and Levi shook his head. "So you would shoot someone and harm them? Get more blood on your hands? Instead of just letting me do it and handle the whole situation?"

"S-stop talking!" Eren snapped, turning away. "I don't want to hear anything from you." He looked pleadingly at Yoonbum. "Come with me. We can be safe, we can be free. Do you want to be free from him?" Eren glared at Sangwoo.

"N — I . . . S-Sangwoo . . ." Yoonbum seemed unable to form words and Eren offered a hand out to him only to be stabbed in the arm by Sangwoo.

Screaming, Eren felt the gun drop from his hand as a sense of unbearable pain flared up his arm. Dimly he wondered if this is how his mother — how Dina — had felt and a wave of sickness washed over him as he collapsed, sobbing.

"MOTHERFUCKER!"

Levi roared, and he sounded so utterly angry it made Eren press up against the ground, his eyes wide as he struggled desperately to remove the knife from his severed flesh, tears pouring relentlessly from his eyes.

There was a shout and Eren heard footsteps close behind him before there was the noises of rustling and wrestling. Eren finally managed to get the knife free from his skin, just as Yoonbum crouched down beside him fearfully.

He was also crying as he said, "I'm s-so sorry. I told Sangwoo coming outside was a b-bad idea." He examined Eren's wound briefly and repeated, "I'm sorry." He then looked up and met Eren's gaze. "But really . . . You should run."

Stumbling to his feet, Eren rasped, "What about you?" Yoonbum shook his head and said, "I'll be fine. D-do not worry about me." He spoke with a heavy stuttering lisp and a strong accent of something Eren was certain was Korean.

"Go and be free, maybe we will meet again one day," Yoonbum told him and Eren nodded before running off, glancing over his shoulder to see Levi trying to shoot Sangwoo, only it looked as though the gun was severely jammed.

Running as fast as his tired legs would carry him, Eren kept going, trying not to stop as he thought of where on Earth he would be able to go.

His arm was killing him, and he wondered if Yoonbum had gotten the same treatment from Sangwoo. Judging by the bandages he wore, hidden partially by clothing, he suspected that was the case. Yoonbum had looked so scared . . .

Why didn't I bring him with me? Eren thought guiltily. Silently he made a list in his head. He had Zeke to go back and look for, and now he also had Yoonbum. Even though his goals would probably never be achieved, he could at least try.

Then he reminded himself that he would never be able to look for them if he was locked up with Levi for the rest of his life. He had to keep going, keep running, to be free. As long as he was one step ahead of Levi, he was safe.

But then a part of him wondered over whether Levi was still alive or not. What was happening back there? Levi's gun had certainly been jammed, leaving him weaponless. And if Sangwoo got to his knife before Levi could . . . Oh God.

Why was his heart aching like this? Why was he so worried?

Certainly he could not be worried over Levi, the hidden psychopath who had dated him at the same time he secretly ruined his lover's life. Certainly he could not be wishing for Levi to live, because Levi Ackerman did not deserve life.

No . . .

Levi Ackerman deserved nothing.

Not freedom.

Not life.

And especially not Eren's love.

But somehow, he still got all of that.

(A/N: I might make an extra chapter depicting the fight between Levi and Sangwoo I'm not too sure, would y'all like to see the two fight? Who am I kidding Im pretty sure all you KS/AoT lovers would.

*clears throat* so on this chapter Im guessing people will comment "SANGWOO FUCK YOU FOR STABBING MY SON EREN" and some might be like "gO SANGWOO" and a few might be like "LEVI FUCK HIM UP RIP HIM A NEW ASSHOLE" and a couple will just be concerned with Eren like "EREN BBY RUN LIKE NARUTO" but watch me be wrong—)
