Ahhh sweet bed. Soft and comfortable...
And then the alarm rang.
Wait...what?! I just slept!! How could it be morning already? Impossible, maybe I put the alarm on a wrong time...
I lifted my heavily eyelids. And what do you know?
There was a stream of sunlight coming through my window. Great. School. Already. Uggggghhhhh!!!
I huffed and sighed and eventually got out of my bed.
I went out to the only bathroom. Washed my face, went down to eat breakfast.
I could barely lift my eyes to look at what I am eating. So I just gave up eating and quickly brushed my teeth.
Few seconds later, my mom went out of the room. I know my dad had gone out for work earlier.
"Hurry up. I'm going to be late to school. Can you drop me off?"
"Ah, not today. I have a meeting in 20 minutes and I need that extra time driving to work."
"Fine"
I ran to my room and got my backpack.
"Bye Mom, I'm going now."
"Ok, bye see you soon"
I walked out and the cold air greeted me happily.
My fingers are freezing... cold.
I walked half a block when Niko drove up to me.
"What are you doing here Nik?"
"Ouch, can't a friend say hi to you?"
"Yeah but you don't live here."
"I stopped by your house just it time before your mom left. She said you were walking."
"And here I am. What do you need?"
"Hop in"
I opened the passenger door and slid in. Soft music was playing in the background.
"Yeah?" I questioned him.
Nik stayed silent for a few seconds and started the engine.
He cleared his throat. "I kinda need advice."
"On what?"
"Gir...gifts!"
"Girgifts?"
"No, gifts."
"Ok... but you know it's not Christmas yet. It's still October. Who are you giving it too?"
"A good friend of mine?"
"Are you questioning yourself?"
"Well I would call her—"
"Wait this is a girl?"
"Uhhh I mean... ok, yeah it's a girl. And I would call her a friend but I don't know if she consider me as a friend."
I grinned like a Cheshire Cat.
"Are you saying you are trying to get a girlfriend?"
Niko grinned like me.
"Maybe.." he mysteriously added.
