-Dark Ages-
It was a dark night as Fear stared at the moon, cursing the names of Father Winter and Father Time. If it wasn't for his banishment, every man, woman, and child would fear Fear himself.
"I need to take down those two for good, but with my power alone, it is not enough. I need someone who can get close to Father Winter without bringing up suspicion. But who could that be.
Just then, a young boy was shouting out with pleasure as he flew by in a hurry. "Wind, take me higher! I want to try to scare Father Winter!"
Fear watched the boy as he continued to laugh. "Who is that creature?" As he held out his hand, a snowflake landed in his palm. "Snow? This child is from Frost?"
As he thought back to his banishment. He recalled there being a young boy by Father Winter's side. What was his name again? "Jack Frost. With years of training, he just may become of use to me."
Laughing mischievously, Fear came up with a plan to catch Jack Frost when he is the most desperate. He had heard some of the stories about Jack from the humans as he passed by. Jack was one of the most feared figures throughout children, making him a perfect tool.
"Jack Frost, enjoy your time now. In a couple of centuries, you will need me. And when you do, I'll make sure those who made us into the feared creatures we are will pay. No human will grow as time stops to move, and winter will forever be yours alone."
Turning his back to the moon, Fear created nightmares to follow Jack for as long as it takes, letting him know when the perfect opportunity to steal Jack Frost from the clutches of Father Winter comes.
"With Jack Frost by my side, I will free this world of their reign. The world will be covered with Fear and Ice." Fear walked away from the moonlight, disappearing in the shadows.
