Meanwhile...
Father Winter's P.O.V.
Something strange is going on here. Jack hasn't been acting like himself, nor should he be hearing any voices. Especially a woman's. What's happening to him?
As I arrived at Frost, I couldn't make myself smile for all the happy faces surrounding me. I just couldn't shake this feeling that something big was going to happen very soon. My children may be put in danger if I can't protect my youngest child.
"Father Winter, is something troubling you?" Harmony asked as she took my hand. "Is it something I can help you with, Father?"
"Yes, child. Gather around all my children quickly, before Jack returns." With that, the girl ran off, leaving me with my thoughts. It wasn't long until I was staring back at those I considered my children, all of them except for my youngest. "Thank you, Harmony."
Marcus crossed his arms, counting everyone before turning back to me. "Father Winter, you called everyone, but that brat, Jack, isn't here."
"You watch your mouth, Marcus. Jack is currently away, but will be back soon. I would like to share with you all some important information before he returns." With that everyone stays silent, allowing me to share what I know. "We all know the troubles Jack had faced in his human life, why Father Time and I removed those haunting memories from that child. I fear that something is returning those to him."
All around me, outraged voices shouted out their concerns. Never before have I seen these children more concerned for Jack that it made my heart happy.
"He has recently told me that he has been hearing voices, specifically a woman's voice, but I believe he hasn't reached the point to where he can connect the voice to a face. Until we are certain that Jack is safe, everyone is to watch him. Jack needs to be constantly watched."
"But how will we catch him? Jack is really fast when he uses the wind, and not to mention, he also holds so much power in that weak body of his." I can't deny the fact that Marcus made a good point, despite that insult he threw in, but something has to be done. "We can't even compare to him, Father. The only ones who can are you, Father Time, and..."
"Fear." I sighed as I silently hoped for Fear's involvement in this. "Fear has been banished for centuries. It is impossible for him to have a hand in this. Jack has never met Fear, and I would like to keep it that way. For now, watch that boy carefully. Look for any strange behavior. Do you all understand?"
"Yes, Father Winter!"
It was the best I could do for Jack at the moment, but until I understand his situation better, it will have to do.
