Injury [Part 2]

*Sisilia's POV*

I woke up confused and hazy with chapped lips, a blurry vision and someone holding my left hand.

I tried to move but that only shot a bolt of pain up my spine making me groan.

"Hey..." A husky voice said and the grip on my hand tightened.

I used my right hand to rub my eyes so I can somewhat clear up my vison to see who it was.

"How are you feeling?" The voice continued to speak.

I finally stopped rubbing my eyes and saw that it was Jeff sitting beside me on a chair holding on my hand for dear life. He also looked as if he had just woken up as well.

"Hey," I smiled warmly at him. "I feel fine, just a little pain in my back, but I'm fine," I rested my right hand on his now sandwiching his hand.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help you back at the show," Jeff apologized and looked down.

Then suddenly reality struck me like a ton of bricks and I immediately recalled everything that happened. I took away my hands from Jeff's and took a look around.

I was at the hospital.

I then pried away the thin cover that was over my body and made an attempt to get out the bed and walk away but that only resulted me in falling down.

"Sisi!" Jeff exclaimed running over to my side to help me up.

"Shit!" I cursed as the pain ran through my spine whilst Jeff was now holding me bridal style.

"Are you okay?" Jeff asked concerned as he seated me gently back onto the bed. I kept my arms around his shoulders and shook my head with closed eyes.

"I'll go get a nurse or a doctor," He suggested in panic mode but I tightened my grip around his shoulders holding him back.

"No..." I whispered. "Get me out of here," I opened my eyes and stared at Jeff dead serious although I'm pretty sure my face was contoured with the pain I was feeling right now.

"Sisi, you know I can't do that," He stated.

"But I need to go see Vince. I-I need..." I began but Jeff shook his head which made me pause my sentence.

"You need to rest your back," He said as if finishing my sentence and began pushing me back cautiously to lay back down.

"Jef-"

"Good morning," A deep voice greeted cutting me off. Jeff and I both look towards to door and saw that a doctor was now standing in the room.

"Good morning," Jeff and I said in unison.

"I'm Dr. Brooks. How is your back doing miss Osborne?" The doctor asked flicking his pen.

I sat back up and gave Jeff a threatening side glance silently letting him know to not speak about what just happened. Jeff sighed heavily but nodded.

"Great," I answered obviously lying because the fall I had just took a couple minutes ago was badly affecting me but I tried my best to hide that fact.

"Is that so?" Dr. Brooks looked up from his glasses raising his eyebrows. I smiled weakly.

"Hmm..." He contemplated. "Stand up," He ordered.

Both Jeff and I looked at each other. I audibly gulped while Jeff looked on in amusement as payback to my stare threat.

I threw my legs over the bed and began lifting my weight to stand up but, again, that just resulted in me falling down, but not totally since Jeff caught me.
