Flight Disturbance.
*Sisilia's POV*
"But I don't wanna go!" I whined as I threw the upper half of my body onto Jeff's lap fake sobbing.
We were now at the airport, pulled into the car park and currently, Jeff was trying desperately to get me out of his car so I can catch my flight.
To be honest, I thought the situation would be the other way around but I guess now that the time was finally here, I couldn't help but be a big baby.
"Now you know how I felt earlier today," Jeff said as he sighed and stroke my hair.
"I really wish I could stay longer, I had so much fun today. Why can't we just continue that?" The sadness I felt came through as I spoke and played with the hem of Jeff's t-shirt.
"Well look who's bombed out now," Jeff taunted. "Sisi, I also wish you could stay but we have to face reality. You're a strong girl so I know you'll fully recover and be back to work in no time. Besides, after all the hard work you did this year, I think you should count this as a well deserved vacation because we don't get that very often. So go home, spend time with your friends and family and catch up on things. I'm sure everyone there is missing you."
I contemplated on Jeff's words and decided that he was in fact right. I haven't seen my folks since I started working in WWF and I do have to admit, I missed them like crazy.
I sighed feeling deflated and lazily got up from Jeff's lap.
"Well, let's go then."
*
"I guess I'll see you in Birmingham next three weeks then?" Jeff spoke trying his best to suppress his feelings but I saw right through him as I, myself, was very close to breaking down as well.I nodded and roughly pulled him to me crashing our bodies together into a tight hug.
"God I'm gonna miss you," I whispered and twirled his ponytail around my fingers. "-And this rainbow abomination."
His chest rumbled as he lowly chuckled and pressed me further into him. "I'll miss you too."
We stayed hugging until a mic came on announcing that my flight was ready. We pulled away from each other agonizingly slow and stared at each other, now hand in hand.
I saw a twinkle in Jeff's leafy green eyes making me get lost for a moment until he blinked.
I quickly regained myself and cleared my throat. "Well, I should probably get going before they leave my ass," I awkwardly joked but Jeff only nodded with a small frown.
I took a deep breath, bending down slightly and pulling up the handles of my two suitcases that sat on the floor beside me.
I returned to my normal posture with my suitcases in hand and looked to Jeff one last time before I left through the terminal.
"Goodbye Jeff, I'll see you soon," I half heartedly smiled as I fought back the urge to burst into tears.
"Bye..." His voice cracked as he also plastered on a small heart aching smile.
God, this is so dramatic. I should've just left already, but knowing that Jeff isn't going to be by my side anymore is just making everything so hard right now. At this point, I think I'm just savoring every last second with him. Who knows what this departure is going to bring and how long it's going to last.
I was suddenly broke out of my thoughts when I felt his lips attached itself onto my cheek but only mere inches away from my lips.
I jerked my head at the suddeness but leaned into it after the realization and closed my eyes, sinking myself into it.
