We're Back [Part Two].
*Sisilia's POV*
"Well, well, well..."
"Look at what we have here."
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
Turning around reluctantly to where I heard the two voices, I closed my eyes taking in a deep breath and mentally preparing myself for a possible battle; verbally or physically.
Feeling myself brought back into my snappy mood, I opened my eyes.
"Ah. So, Hell rejected you two? That's a shame. I thought you girls would've fit in just fine over there," I spoke darkly almost ending my statement with a growl.
Both Ivory and Sable laughed sickeningly before closing in on the space between us.
"That's right, bitch," Ivory sneered getting up in my face. "We're back."
"And better than ever," Sable added copying Ivory's position.
I glared at them both, sending daggers almost and standing my ground. I was not going to be intimidated by these bimbos.
Seeing that I was not backing down from their stares, Ivory held a hand up mid air infront of Sable's chest and they both backed up creating a decent distant between us.
Ivory then tilted her head before plastering on a devious smirked. "So, I see your Michaels' new whore now?"
As soon as those words left her mouth, I felt my temper spike and the urge to launch myself at her and choke her out was beginning to surface.
Sable giggled before resting her arm on the ball of Ivory's shoulder. " What happened? Did the scrawny plott hound fall short?"
I clenched my jaw, gritting away at my teeth, as a image of Jeff flash across my mind.
"What's the matter, love?" Ivory asked teasingly as I only glared at her threateningly. "Cat's got your tongue?"
Yeah," Sable pitched in making me shift my glare to her. "You were so feisty just two seconds ago."
Keep it together, Sisilia.
They're only testing you.
Breathe.
"How about you two back the fuck up before I make you."
A voice sounded behind me making the hairs on my body stand. I sighed in relief but still stood on edge not knowing what to expect.
Ivory and Sable were not phased or showed any sign of weakness, but they did retreat with scowl and a last threat.
"Watch your back, Scar."
I remained wordless but kept my glare on the two retreating ladies until they disappeared around a corner further down the hallway.
I then slumped my shoulders and released another breath.
"Are you alright, Sisi?"
"Thank you for that, Jeff," I said genuinely as I turned around to face him.
It has also been two weeks since Jeff and I had our little falling out at Shawn's hotel room.
It was the last time we ever spoke and to be honest, it crushed me to pieces.
"They were picking on my best friend. I couldn't just see that and let it happen. I had to do something, even if it was a puny threat," Jeff spoke sincerely staring at me intently with his big hazel-green doe eyes.
His best friend.
I'm still his best friend.
He's still my best friend.
I smiled feeling my eyes tear up and launched myself onto his body wrapping my arms tightly around his neck.
Jeff stumbled back a bit as I caught him off guard so suddenly, but eventually came to a halt and wrapped his arms around me squeezing me tightly against his chest.
"I'm so sorry," He mumbles into my hair. It was bearly a whisper. "I'm so sorry about everything I said. I guess, I was really being overly obsessed and didn't try to understand where you were coming from. I just didn't want you to get hurt."
"It's okay, Jeff," I said breaking the hug and moving my arms from around his neck to cup his cheeks. I then ran my thumbs under his wet eyes when I realised that he had been tearing up as well. "I just wanted you to reach that realisation that you were blinded. And you did, so I forgive you. I understand that you just wanted to protect me. You've warned me from day one, but I know what I'm doing and everything is fine. You don't need to worry. If there's a problem, you'll be the first one I run to. I promise."
Jeff stared at me with intensity as if going deep into his thoughts about my words before closing his eyes and sighing. "I guess if Michaels makes you happy, then I have no choice but to be happy for you. But the day he breaks your heart, I'll break his neck."
I smiled once again broadly pulling him back into a tight hug. "Thank you for understanding."
A small chuckle rumbled from his chest as his fingers lightly brushed the back of my hair. "Does this mean I have my best friend back?"
"Oh, you bet cha!" I beamed pulling away from the hug and hooking my arm with his. "Now, let's go celebrate by stuffing our guts."
Jeff laughed whole heartedly before shaking his head and leading the way. "Food always makes everything better."
How true, indeed.
