Make-Ups and Break-Ups.
*Sisilia's POV*
"I don't understand why I have to be here," Shawn complained as we parked in the garage of the Hardy's Compound. "I'm an outcast."
After Jeff and I repaired our friendship, Jeff informed me that him and Matt were putting together a small barbecue since it was the last night in their hometown of Cameron, North Carolina, before getting back on the road for next week's RAW, and invited both Shawn and I to be there.
I was shocked at first when he said to bring along Shawn, but it quickly wore off when I realised this was Jeff making the effort to give Shawn a chance.
My only problem, however, was getting Shawn to actually go.
"Oh, suck it up will you," I rolled my eyes unbuckling my seatbelt. "This is good; what we're doing here is good."
"I don't belong here with these pip-squeaks," Shawn continued to grumble like a five year old.
"Hey!" I suddenly snapped pointing a stern finger towards Shawn, not intentionally trying to be harsh, though he remained unphased and continued to look rather annoyed. "You don't have to like any of them, alright? All I want is for you and Jeff to be on the same boat. Can you do that? For me?"
Shawn shrugged with a deflated sigh keeping his stare in front of him. "I guess..."
"Shawn, please?" I practically begged, resting my hand on his arm and giving a little squeeze. "Jeff is willing to start over and actually give you a chance to see what I see."
"I've been getting a lot of that these days, huh?" Shawn finally faced me and said with a sheepish half smile.
"Shawn," I said in a warning tone not wanting our conversation to turn into an argument. We were doing so good these couple of days.
"Fine," Shawn gave out slumping his shoulders. "I'll try to be buddies with your unicorn friend."
"Great. Let's go," I clapped my hands in excitement before getting out of the car.
I then made my way round to the front door with Shawn tailing sluggishly behind me.
Music and loud laughter can be heard blaring from the inside as I rang the door bell.
"Sisi!" The door immediately swung open revealing a beaming Jeff on the other side. "You made it!"
Damn. It's like he's been waiting right behind the door.
"Hey, Jeff," I smiled going in for a hug. "Sorry we're late."
"Nah, it's alright. Don't worry about it," Jeff pulled away with a broad smile of his own. "I'm just glad you both could make it," He then said with his eyes shifting from me to Shawn.
"So, how about we get inside, where I assume, the action really is?" I spoke breaking the growing tension between Jeff and Shawn as they continued to stare at each other.
"Yeah. Absolutely. Right this way," Jeff responded quickly as if coming out of a trance and clearing the doorway.
I then turned to Shawn and smiled before taking his hand and carrying him further into the house to meet everyone.
Fingers crossed. I hope this goes well.

"So, Jeff, when are the girls going to be here?" I asked as Jeff and I were both doing the dishes; I wash while he dries.I'm pretty sure we've entered our fourth hour into the barbecue, which isn't even a barbecue anymore since everyone already ate and were pretty much just drinking and playing card games.
