Escape.
*Sisilia's POV*
"Where the hell were you?!" Nate whisper shouted as I walked out the connected alleyway. "Didn't you hear us calling for you?!" He pointed to Jeff and himself.
"I...uhh..." I trailed nervously looking back to the spot where Michaels once stood.
There was so many mixed up emotions running through me, it felt as if I couldn't function.
"Sisi, what's wrong?" Jeff held onto my shoulders dipping his head slightly so his face was fully in my line of vision.
I blinked at him several times before composing myself.
"What?" I looked between Nate and Jeff. "I'm a girl. I have needs and I needed to pee."
Jeff hung his head with a relieved smile while Nate just pursed his lips.
"You gave us such a fright Sisi," Jeff now swung his arm over my shoulders.
Nate nodded. "We thought something happened, like you got kidnapped or something."
"Sorry..." I said sheepishly.
Nate shook his head and motioned his hand for us to start walking. "Just don't let it happen again," He stated firmly.
"Guys!" Matt suddenly yelled pulling up by the dumpster with his car. "Hurry!"
"Shit!" Nate cursed. "We gotta run!"
All three of us took of running towards Matt's car but as we came out in the open exiting the alley, a cop, that was currently questioning a few people, saw us.
He eyed us cautiously before yelling out at us. "Hey! Stop right there!"
"Shit! Get in! Get in!" Matt panicked hitting his palms repeatedly against his door.
Jeff opened the door to the back seat and jumped in first before reaching out for me and pulling me in faster.
Nate jumped in right after before yelling at Matt. "Drive! Drive! Drive!"
The tires screeched as Matt speedily pulled off leaving the cops behind.
Damn! That was crazy.
"Where's the rest of us?" I asked realizing that I didn't see Jared or the girls.
"Well, when you decided that you needed to make your tinkle stop, soon after that Matt and Jared pulled up, but when we noticed that you weren't with us, we had the girls go off with Jared so Jeff and I can look for you," Nate explained in a scolding manner.
I flinched at his tone. "I told you I was sorry."
"Sorry doesn't quite cut it Sisilia!" Nate snapped. "I was worried sick!"
"Chill out bro!" Jeff cut in pulling me to his side. "She already has it hard. Don't make her feel like more shit!"
"Jeff's right, this is all my fault," I said lowly fiddling with my thumbs.
"That's not what I meant Sisi," Jeff place a hand on both mines rubbing gently as comfort.
"I'm sorry sis," Nate sighed before placing his hand on my knee. "But it's what Jeff said; None of this is your fault. It's that bastard fault. I can't believe him!" Nate's voice grew louder with each word.
"I've been friends with that guy for quite a while now. He always came to the diner whenever he was in town and he seemed like a pretty cool guy. I never expected this from him," Nate shook his head in disappointment before twisting his face in pure disgust and rage. "But he messed with my sister and friends. I can't forgive him for that and I swear, if I ever see his God damn face again, imma smash it into a wall!"
"Calm down Nate," I placed my hand behind his neck and squeezed lightly as a way to ease up any tension. "Nothing like that is going to happen again."
"Right, because Michaels said so back at the bar," Nate shook his head. "Honestly, why do you believe that?"
I pushed my bottom lip to the side bitting down at the very corner where Michael's lips once were. The memory striking me only for a brief second.
"I just have a feeling... I just... know."
Jeff scoffed. "Waw. That's reassuring."
I snapped my head towards him withdrawing my hands from both men and crossing them over my chest.
"I'm over this conversation."
"Don't tell me you're falling for that asshole after everything he did," Nate said skeptically as he squinted his eyes down at me.
My face flushed.
Of course not.
Right?
"What?!" I questioned almost in disbelief. "Why the hell would I? I hate that bastard if you haven't already knew!"
"Mhm..." Jeff pursed his lips. "But actions speak louder than words my friend," he taunted.
I narrowed my brows in confusion. "What?"
"I think we all saw the little look you two shared just before we left," Nate informed.
This time I was the one to scoff. "Are you freakin' kidding me?!"
"Well whether there's something going on between you two or not-"
"Which is NOT!" I yelled cutting off Nate.
He rolled his eyes. "-Just know that I do not approve."
"I second that," Jeff nodded and raised his hand.
Unbelievable.
