Just Friends.
*Sisilia's POV*
"Michaels..." I breathe completely stunned as I stared at Michaels who just stood frozen to the concrete sidewalk a couple feet away from me looking shocked out of his mind.
What the hell is he doing here?!
"Well... I'll leave you two to it," Robert said behind me before I heard his footsteps getting distant indicating that he was leaving.
Leaving me with Michaels.
"Wh-What are you doing here?" I blurted out the only question that was on my mind still stunned.
Michaels shook his head slightly as if trying to shake away the shock and return to his normal state.
"I think we should talk and settle things once and for all without either one of us getting upset and running off," He said completely ignoring my question.
I squinted my eyes and narrowed my brows now feeling a bit of aggression coming on. "You were the one that pushed me to run off because, just like this, you wanted to talk but then further down the line when things were getting serious, you decided to drop the topic, so I think you should be telling yourself that instead of me because I'm always ready to settle things."
"Okay, calm down tiger. No need to bite my head off," Michaels stuck his palms out walking up to me. "How about we go somewhere warmer instead of staying cold out here in the middle of the night, hmm?" He then suggested pointing to the diner.
"The diner just closed... and I can't go back to my hotel," I said trying not to frown from the memories of Jeff's words.
"Why?" Michaels questioned obviously confused.
"Because, if you must know, Jeff and I aren't on the same boat right now," I snapped folding my arms.
"Why?" Michaels repeated which made me roll my eyes in annoyance.
He's really starting to tick me off.
"Because, Michaels, I didn't tell Jeff that I got my job back. He only found when watching the match on the monitor backstage and saw me with you and you know how much he hates you so that just pissed him off further," I explained becoming frustrated.
"But don't you have separate rooms?"
What the fuck is this?!
Twenty one questions?!
"Yes... but we argued back in my room and knowing Jeff, he's not going to leave unless he sees me back and quite frankly, I don't want to go back."
"Then come with me to mines," Michaels offered immediately making me choke on my own spit and by the looks of it, he was also surprised by his own words.
"No, thanks," I coughed putting a hand on my chest. "I'm better freezing my ass off to death."
"Do you really have that little trust in me?" He then walked closer to me closing in on the space between us.
"I think your question should be if I trust you at all," I scoffed sarcastically suddenly getting nervous.
"No, actually, I think it should be if you trust yourself alone in a room with me," He said dangerously low before bringing a finger up to my right cheek and teasingly running it down to line my jaw making my gasp slightly.
Oh, for fuck sake!
Back away!
"I'm not going anywhere with you," I declared and took a step back away from him making his hand fall from the lost of touch.
