Dolly House Chaos.
*Sisilia's POV*
After the commotion in the ring with Trish, I trailed after her looking for answers as to why she would attack me like that.
Granted, we were not friends. That's a fact. I only tolerated her because of Jeff and so did she towards me, but we never gunned for each other before that. She did her thing and I did mine and we stayed out of each other's way, unless we had a match together, but even so, it was strictly professional.
Right now, this seemed far from professional.
This was personal.
I followed her into catering with Shawn tailing behind me as he was just as curious. Trish then spotted Jeff and made a beeline towards him.
Upon closing in on the rainbow headed man, I could see that his face held shock and confusion.
There was a monitor mounted on the wall not too far from where he was standing, so I'm guessing that he saw what happened just moments ago.
"Just the man I was looking for," Trish said as she approached Jeff before shoving him back by the chest causing him to stumble but quickly regain his balance.
"Hey!" I grabbed Trish's arm as anger shot through me. "The only reason I didn't kick your head off is becasue I've got not a clue of what the fuck is happening right now. So why don't you cut the bullshit and explain."
She scoffed with a laugh before yanking her arm away from my grip and turning back to Jeff.
"Why don't you tell her?"
I squinted my eyes looking from her to Jeff. "Tell me what?"
"The reason we broke up," She answers in a taunting fashion towards Jeff, who responded by visibly tensing.
Thinking back to the day of the barbecue at his house, Jeff had only informed me about their breakup, but he never explained the reason as to why they split.
Though, I really don't see how I fit into that equation.
"What does y'all breakup have to do with her?" Shawn questions besides me reading my exact thought.
Trish laughed again. "Oh, that's cute! I guess you really don't have a clue, huh?" She looks to me. I shook my head.
"Trish-" Jeff tried to speak, but Trish was quick to cut him off.
"Zip it," She spat. "I gave you your chance to speak and you didn't, so allow me."
Jeff clenched his jaw as both of them glared at each other before Trish decides to break the eye contact and turn to me.
"Jeff's in love with you."
A lot of things happened the moment those five words left Trish's lips.
One, my heart skipped a beat and fell straight down to my ass in attempt suicide.
Two, the air got thin and suddenly I felt like I couldn't breathe.
Three, Jeff looked as if someone had shot him as he went pale with an almost terrified expression.
Four, Shawn busted out laughing with his head thrown back as if he had just heard the best joke of his life.
"I fuckin knew it!" Shawn declared as his laughter started to die down. I slowly turned to look at him, dumbfounded by his reaction.
He shook his head before looking over to me. A sympathetic knowing half smile etched upon his face. "Awh, Don't look at me like that, buttercup. I knew it from the beginning. I even told you, but you denied it, giving me false hope and I, like the idiot that I am, fell for it because I really wanted us to work. The joke is on everyone here really, so why aren't we laughing?"
