Interview with @StarlitTrees

What is your username?

A. StarlitTrees

When did you join Wattpad? And for how long have you been writing (in general)?

A. Well, honestly, I joined it about two years ago when Inkpop fell. It was a writing site much like this. Then, I deleted my old account and took a long break. Now I've been back since January.

What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?

A. I'm editing my finished novel, Dusk and Shadows. It's a high fantasy about a young girl finding out she's a dragon rider even though they were thought all dead because her father killed most of them. She'll have to come to terms with being something she's hated for so long as well as travel to find her dragon.

Then the second is one I started recently, called These Ungodly Wars. The world has been corrupted for a long time now and finally, the angels have had enough. They want a clean slate. For that, human kind needs to be gone. In this book, I write two boys falling in love for the first time in my life, so I'm hoping that'll go well.

Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?

A. I think readers should read Dusk and Shadows for its descriptions and world, its characters and events. These Ungodly Wars is more a novel for the paranormal fans and shows that those we think are our allies, might not always be.

Which is your favorite character, in the current story you are working on?

A. In Dusk and Shadows, it would be Cirion. He's one of the few dragon Riders left with a quite sarcastic mind of his own.

How many stories have you posted on Wattpad (excluding short stories)?

A. Four. The completed version of Dusk and Shadows, the being-edited version, These Ungodly Wars and short stories all in one work.

Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?

A. In These Ungodly Wars, it's harder to choose. I'd say Rhys or Colin, either of the boys that will be together. Rhys is a character going through so much and it makes me feel for him, while Colin is more the helping kind.

Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?

A. I don't offer them, but I just pick a novel to critique or every now and then I accept a request. I've critiqued a novel, but it was taken down.

Do you write for yourself or for the readers?

A. Myself.

Describe yourself in ten words.

A. ~Random ~Helpful ~Crazy ~Evil {to characters} ~Insane ~Kind {to peope} ~Honest ~Fangirl ~Smart {or so people say} ~Talkative {depends with whom and what about}
