What is your username?

A. @MythGal

When did you join Wattpad? And for how long have you been writing (in general)?

A. I joined about nine months ago, though I have been writing since I was a child. If I had to say a specific time, I started really writing about five years ago.

What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?

A. There are several stories I am currently work on but the one that I am focusing on is “Understanding You.” It is story from the obnoxious, football-playing boy’s point of view. At the beginning of the tale, Aaron (the boy) meets the hot yet insane new girl, Lisha. As the story progresses, Aaron becomes determined to understand this crazy enigma of a girl and, in the process, falls for her. Aaron is faced with many antagonists, such as: his own arrogance, a rather rude girlfriend, an Ex, and a dark and troubling past. It is a tale of overcoming adversity and changing (for the better) for the ones we love.

Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?

A. I believe that readers should read my story because, though at times it may seem cliché, it is unlike other stories. The characters you love in the beginning may become characters you hate and vice versa. I believe that it is a refreshing change from the usual boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl live happily ever after tale. The characters are continually facing adversity and it will keep readers on their toes. They will never be able to guess what comes next.

Which is your favorite character, in the current story you are working on?

A. My favorite character? Wow, that is hard. I love writing Lisha Carla. She is just so crazy and full of mood swings that I can write her anytime but I also love my supporting cast. They are all amazing and fun to write in their own way. My favorite supporting character would have to be either Billy or Mike. Oh, I just can’t choose.

How many stories have you posted on Wattpad (excluding short stories)?

A. I have several short stories and collections as well as poems, but I have 5 stories posted, though three of them are on hold and one is slow updates.

Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?

A. “Cultural Differences” is the other book I am currently working on. It is a novelized version of an idea I had for a Korean drama. It is cliché but does have some twists. Arianna moves to Korea with her best friend, Kelsey, in order to study abroad. The two girls are faced with many new problems, not the least of them being the lack of maids. As Arianna and Kelsey learn to fend for themselves and live life in another country, they find love, make friends, and deal with troubling pasts.

“Will Can’t Speak” is the first book in the Wish Academy series, which is on hold for now. Willow, better known as Will, is mute but that doesn’t mean she can’t speak volumes. She shares her story through her dance. Along with her best friend, Tyler, Will enters Wish Academy under the dance program. There is she meets many new friends and maybe even finds love.

Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?

A. I have never outright offered a critique strictly because I am limited in time but, if someone asked, I would definitely consider it, especially if they ask nicely and don’t self-promote in one of my stories.

Do you write for yourself or for the readers?

A. I write for both myself and my readers. I write because I love writing and it makes me happy, but I also love my readers and want them to enjoy what they are reading. I write so that myself and others can find a story they like.

Describe yourself in ten words.

A. Nerdy, Crazy, Sarcastic, Religious, Creative, Random, Evil (to characters… mostly, mwahahaha), Smart (so I am told), Fangirl, and Violent (that goes with evil, I guess).
