Ok, so it has been awhile. So, I'll give yall a heads up if ya dont wanna go back and read a little bit.

(RECAP: Lucas and Kayleigh are now dating. Kayleigh and Lucas have to choose between which pack they want to belong to if they get mated anytime soon. Blake stirred up Lucas with all of his smack talk about getting Kayleigh for himself which made Lucas mad. So in the end, Lucas and Blake lunge at each other in their wolf forms to fight in the hallway. Classy young men aren't they?;P)

"Both of you stop!", I yelled at the two wolves going after each other in the hallway. Of course though, no teachers would get involved. I mean come on. You have 2 Alphas going after each other. Would you want to try and jump in?

I heard Lucas through the mind link,'Kayleigh, he won't stop harassing you unless I get rid of him once and for all! I have to do this!'.

Blake growled out,"Kayleigh is rightfully mine Lucas! I've liked her longer!", Blake looked over at me while holding Lucas off of him,"Kayleigh! Don't you understand? Lucas only began to like you because you are his mate! He never liked you from the beginning. Heck, he didn't even know who you were. You two have been going to school together for almost 10 years and he doesn't even know anything about you! He just wanted to mate you!! That is it!! There is no loving bond connection between you two! He just says and does this stuff to make you think he likes you!".

He was interrupted by Lucas snarling at him and baring his teeth in Blake's face,"Quit lying to her!!".

I stood there kind of shocked. Was Blake right? I mean Lucas had to ask me if "Kayleigh" was my name or not when he met me in the hallway that one day. And he hasn't really talked to me until this year. Could he be right?

Lucas stopped snarling and looked at me noticing I wasn't making any sounds,"Kayleigh?".

I looked down at the ground trying not to see his face. I needed to concentrate, and looking at his face wouldn't allow me to do so.

Lucas asked again,"Kayleigh, are you okay?".

I sighed. I can't believe I am doing this again. I had tears streaming down the sides of my face, gliding down my cheeks like a waterfall. I was crying? Why am I being so emotional? I need to leave here. I need to be by myself so I can think. What with these 2 fighting I won't even get a single thought in. I turned on my heel and ran towards the front of the school.

I heard Lucas yell for me,"Kayleigh!!", then I heard him come after me. With him in his wolf form, I will never have a chance of getting away in my human form. I shifted and took off faster. I'm nowhere faster than Lucas, but the head start that I got on him will give me just enough time to get away.

I ran out the double doors that led to the courtyard, then headed towards the parking lot. I turned my head to look over my shoulder to notice Lucas is still after me. Crap.

I press my paws into the ground faster and harder, hoping I can get farther and get more speed built up. Which, I got a little bit more speed built up, but not enough to totally out run him. I was still in front and didn't hear him anymore. I turned my head once again and didn't see him. While I slowed down, I came to a stop. I breathed a sigh of relief. I finally get to be by myself.

I walked slowly, gently pressing my paw into the ground with every step I took. I was heading to the pond in the middle of the woods set off to the side of the school. That would be a calm place to think. The sound of water swooshing down the creek and into the pond. The sound of branches and the leaves attached swaying in the wind. The sound of birds chirping as they flew above my head. The sound of cicadas mixed in with grasshoppers and bees. It was a calming environment all in all, and the cloudy sky with a comforting breeze topped it all off. Yea, I would be able to think perfectly out there.
