Katie was introduced the the people in charge and was given her first tasks: help a planet against galra invaders with a couple of others. She was grouped with Te-osh and four others. Just as she was preparing to leave with the others, a Freedom Fighter officer came up to her.

"You're not fighting in that! Come with me. We'll get you equipped," he said and motioned for her to follow. She nodded and raced after him. The room he led her to was full of weapons and Freedom Fighter armor. Her eyes sparkled.

"So cool," she whispered as she examined each thing one by one. "I'm going to be Donatello with a staff!" she called as she snatched a wooden staff off the wall. She began mumbling the theme of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

"Who?" the freedom fighter asked and Katie laughed.

"Nothing you'd know. Just something from my home planet," she explained and looked into the clothes section. They weren't sets. they were literally stranded all over the place. Good thing the base was a ship that simply had taken the planet as its temporally home or someone would have a blast trying to figure out what to do with the disarranged clothing.

She managed to find a reasonable outfit and leave the room to change in time to board the ship and head out. Te-osh smiled at her in her new outfit. "It suits you," she said and Katie smiled back.

"Yeah," the teen responded. She felt the locator in her pocket. This was her life for now. Through this, she'll find her family and home. The ship took off and she stared into the sky as it did. With a sigh they headed off to a planet that will be under attack. She prepared herself for what she was now doing.

This job would be tricky, she was fighting against an alien empire after all. Good thing that their was tons of Freedom Fighters. She was just a plus one. "You nervous? I was too when my first job for the freedom fighters came around. Though, mine wasn't given to me immediately," Te-osh asked.

Katie hadn't paid attention to her own shaking hands and constant gulping. "Yeah, just a little bit. I was a captive by them. I can't imagine fighting against them," she said. Te-osh nodded.

"Good thing you won't be. You're in charge of civilian evacuation into one of the supply ships. Me and the others will be fighting. Though, I won't mind helping you train on the way there. You could use some fighting skills just in case you encounter one of them," the alien explained.

Katie had a feeling that she'd like Te-osh and that they would be great friends. "Actually that sounds nice. Maybe some food too while we're at it. I'm extremely hungry," Katie said as she followed Te-osh out of the captain's box. She was led to a empty room.

"Pull that staff off your back and let's fight, Katie."

Matt rubbed his arms. Next to him was that guy who disappeared with his mother and sister. Matt didn't know how to ask if he remembered what happened to either of them. Shiro had mentioned that he didn't remember. It'd been a year since the disappearance of his family.

They were currently on a journey to find a magical space lion for him to pilot. Matt, Shiro, and a giant space sloth-thing. The sloth rowed the boat while many wonders were past. This was not even the strangest thing he'd seen the last few hours.

That 'sun' turned out to be Shiro falling from the sky in a stolen alien space shuttle. After that they met a mullet kid that Lance was totally head over heels for. That mullet kid led them to a creepy cabin in the middle of a desert then a lion that Lance could apparently fly. Then that mechanic lion flew them off into space and to a planet.

That planet held a magical castle with a sassy princess and a weird old man inside. They were out for revenge against something and needed the random teens that freed them from their sleep to find the other lions that combined together to make a giant alien-fighting robot. Matt was half sure that she based the lions off their clothes. That all lead the two to be in a canoe with each other and a sloth-like creature.

"I wonder if Hunk and Lance are having such a good time as us," Matt absently said, watching all the leaves and creatures pass. They probably weren't, knowing Lance. "I know that the princess said this is supposed to be my lion, but what if she's wrong? She's probably not wrong. She's a princess, but I'm not a pilot, even though I've always wanted to be a pilot. I've read all the fighter manuals, but I've never got to fly the simulator. But I can't be worse then Lance. He crashed all the time. But what if I get in there and it doesn't respond? What if I get in there and it's too big and my feet don't touch the petals? What if there aren't even petals!?"

Shiro cut him off. "You're rambling. Listen, our commander on the Kerberos mission was the smartest woman I ever met, and she always said, 'If you get too worried about what could go wrong, you might missed a chance to do something great.'" he said.

Matt gasped at that quote. He was talking about Matt's mother. Maybe his brain wasn't so scrambled after all. He smiled at the thought of his mother telling him that while Katie laughed at her side. Then something caught his eye. The end of the river they flowed down and a giant pile of twisted up vines, covering something up.

They waved goodbye to the creature and headed towards the mountain of vines. A symbol started glowing green and triggered many others to do the same. "Go. Be great," Shiro said. Matt offered him a smile then went to the pile's top. There was nothing there. Growling came from below followed by a green light.

Matt grinned then jumped in.

XD I think I'm doing pretty well for me to be basing all this off of practically nothing.
