To sum up what had happened in the last hour or so: Te-osh died and the rebels escaped. Though, not before Te-osh mistook Matt for his sister and gave him a locator to help him find Katie. On the brighter side, the galra were defeated and the other rebel fighters were safe.

Now Matt had departed with them and went on his own way in search for his sister. He knew she was close to him. It was like he could sense her life force somewhere in this side of the galaxy. The locator beeped in Matt's hands every now and then, speeding up his nerves.

What would he say? 'Hello I came from the ever deeps of space to find you despise the fact that I was left on Earth? Oh, P.S. I ride a magical space lion that coordinates with my clothing?' Matt shook the idea away and focused on the path before him.

Her signal became stronger and Matt's nerves sky-rocketed. The signal honed in onto a desolated and destroyed planet. "Oh no..., this can't be right," Matt muttered to himself. This was all wrong. The thought of seeing Katie again nearly shattered as he pressed the accelerator.

He flew into the deserted planet, noting it held nothing but a large stone statue with a path between it. He scurried up the steps and touched the pillar. A robotic woman's voice came through carrying a message.

In honor of the 127,098 brave warriors that stood against tyranny, The quest for freedom is won through sacrifice.” Matt felt his eyes widen and his heart drop. Katie cannot be here. Absolutely not. The image of his beloved older sister broke in half before his eyes. Angry, frustrated, and in disbelief, the pilot of the green lion rushed forward, speeding through the narrow path.

Desperately hoping for a different outcome than the one he imagined, Matt shouted, “No! Please, no!” His feet pounded against the wet ground and he found himself in a land of graves. Thunder grumbled behind him as he stared, wide-eyed into the distance of the vast portion of land dedicated to the dead. Thousands of slim, thin metal tombstones decorated the ashened, dark ground before the boy. “Oh, no…,” he whispered to himself.

Sliding down the earthy slope, Matt tripped and fell. He quickly stood up and dashed off once more, chasing after his sister’s location. Memories flashed through his mind with each step. Katie’s smiling face and their happy moments. Then he was there. He had found her. The remnants of her legacy. A tombstone.

Once again, the robotic voice appeared, “Katherine Holt. 00.10.05…,” the machine continued on as Matthew burst into tears.

“I’m sorry… I am too late,” he sulked, digging his head into the ground. All the false hope he had given himself and Shiro only brought about more sobs as the rain came pouring down over his head. Looking at the information, Matt took notice of Katie’s birthday. “What? Wait. Katie’s birthday is wrong…,” he said to himself. Then a gasp left him.

Katie, his smart beloved sister, was not dead. She was alive and had left a message only he and their mother could decipher. The false birthday was actually a message! Quickly using the deciphering skills Katie once taught him, the boy diligently uncoded it to reveal coordinates.

The coordinates to Katie.

A loud sound was heard from above Katie’s hideout. Someone was here when they were not supposed to be. Quickly, the Freedom Fighter hid, awaiting the person to arrive. Most likely, it was someone who was seeking her head for the bounty. The door above clicked and Katie readied herself for the intruder as the door opened, pulling her mask over her face.
