Song of the chapter: Carnival by The Gorillaz

Holly stood on a wooden crate in Bill's garage. She reached above her head, tacking a sheet over a window to block the incoming sunshine. Stan tacked the other side then turned to Holly, holding his hand towards the girl so she could safely get off of the crate. She smiled, taking his hand before jumping off.

Eddie placed a map of Derry's sewer system onto a projector, shooting the image onto a cleared wall. Mike pulled down the garage door, enclosing them in darkness. Ben handed a slide to Bill who placed it in the projector. Holly sat on the wooden crate in front of Richie and Stan, Mike sitting on a table in the back. Bev and Ben sat to her side and Bill stood behind the projector.

Eddie walked over to her from placing a sheet over a window. He sat on the wooden crate Holly was perched upon, her being glad to share.

"Look, its where G-g-g-georgie disappeared." Bill pointed to the map, the storm drain being marked with an X, enclosed in a circle. "There's the Ironworks, and the Black spot. Everywhere IT happens its all connected by the sewers." Bill explains. Holly feels her skin crawl at the memories of standing right outside as Bill and Richie trudged around inside the sewers.

"And they all meet up at-at the-"

"The Well house!" Ben finished.

"That's the house on Neibolt Street." Stan realized.

"You mean that creepy-ass house where all the junkies and hobos like to sleep?" Richie asked.

"Yeah, I think my mom buys from there sometimes." Holly said, thinking about her mother's drug habits. She said it in a joking tone, despite the statement being true. Beside Holly, Eddie messes around in his fanny pack for his inhaler. His shaky fingers find it and fumble with it before dropping it on the ground. Holly, seeing all of this, bends down and picks it up. She wipes it on her shirt, ridding it of the dust it most likely picked up from the floor. Her hand rests on his arm as she brings her other, holding the inhaler to his mouth. She pressed the top as Eddie took a breath, eyes never leaving her as the others continued to talk. He gave her a thankful smile as he took his inhaler from her hand and she returned a glad one.

"Always feels like its watching me." Beverly says. Holly and Eddie guess they're still talking about the Neibolt house.

"That's where I saw It. Where I saw the clown." Eddie says, causing Holly to place her hand over top his shaky one on his bouncing knee. At this, his knee stops bouncing and his hands stop shaking slightly.

"Tha-tha-tha-that's where It lives." Bill explains, looking to the map. Eddie takes a drag off of his inhaler. Holly looked to the map, the red line overlaying the black. It looked rather cluttered and she was grateful that she took Geography already so she could read the map, not that it was all too difficult anyway.

"I can't imagine anything ever wanting to live there." Stan said.

"Can we stop talking about this?" Eddie stood quickly, his hand slipping out of Holly's. "I-I-I can barely breathe. I-Its summer, we're kids and I can barely breathe. I'm having a fucking asthma attack! I'm not doing this!" Eddie yelled , ripping the map off of the wall.

"What the hell! Put the map back!" Bill yelled back. Eddie shook his head, humming a no in response. Holly's mouth opened to say something when the projector started turning. It was playing slides on its own, Bill wasn't touching it. Eddie started backing away from the light, shining on the wall. Holly stood quickly, reaching forward and grabbing his arm, pulling him further away from the images. They sat back on the wooden crates.
