I Wouldn't Mind- Stranger Things 2

Chapter 6- It Begins

*Will*

   Will had been the first one out of the car when they got to the cabin.

   "Woah, its so big," Dustin said as he climbed out behind him.

   The cabin had two floors with a walkthrough between each room. The other car had stopped at the gate to get the keys for the two bottom rooms.

Will and Dustin seen the other kids in school that day, but they were very excited.

Their car arrived 3 minutes after Will's.

   "Hey guys!" Mike said as he helped El out of the car.

   "Hey Max!" Dustin smile as he saw the ginger haired girl.

   "I saw you like an hour ago?" She said confused, but happily.

   Will smiled at Lucas as he got out of the car.

   I know this is going to be a night to remember...

   When the kids worked out their sleeping arrangements (boys in the bigger room, girls in the smaller one)
They got all of their stuff put in their  rooms.

   When they all gathered together, Steve asked, "what do you guys want to do first?"

   The kids ended up deciding to go down to the river to check it out.

  It was relatively small with rocks covering the banks.

   Will took one look at the rocks and knew what he wanted to do. He took some small multicolored rocks and put one into the river the ground them up on a large rock to make a dark orange paste.

  "It's rock paint," Will told them, as he took his finger and put some on his face as war paint.

  "Thats so cool," El told him as she put some on her face as well.

  After the other kids put some on, they started skipping rocks across the slow water.

  Will looked back as Nancy and Steve sat down to watch the kids.

  Will turned back just in time to feel the frozen water splash across his face and body.

   "What the hell?!" He glared at them as he shivered.

   Mike laughed and splashed El too.

  "Its on!" El growled. As she used her powers to drench everyone besides her and Will.

   "Not fair!" Lucas whined.

   The two laughed as they helped the others back to the cabin.

   "Put on some dry clothes," Will said as he handed Lucas a towel.

   He nodded in thanks and went to change.

   The kids eventually gathered in the boys room to eat some pizza Nancy had brought and drink some soda and water.

"Pizza is a food almost everyone loves," the kids explain to her.

   "And I think you know what soda is." Mike adds.

El nods and starts eating her food.

*Lucas*

Will, Lucas, and Max sit on the couch and talk.

"What was California like?" He asked Dustin asked her from the floor.

"It was hot all the time, the beaches were nice, and some of the people were crazy." She explained.

   "The only reason we moved was because my mom wanted a fresh start." Max explained, "I miss my dad."

   Dustin put his hand on her shoulder.

   Lucas would be lying if he said that he didn't still have some feelings for Max, but he and Will were a thing now.

He liked Will and Will liked him and nothing would change that.
