Ashley Miller POV
I was busy cleaning the lounge when I heard a loud scream that had me terrified and sent shivers down to my spine.
Then all of a sudden I heard Cyndiana knocking on the front door and screaming my name, I rushed to open it, she was breathless, her clothes were almost tore, she had bruises all over her body. I quickly pulled her inside and locked the door.
" What happened? Who did this to you? Let me just call the cops, I told her while she remained quiet but her eyes were full of tears.
"Ash, he will kill me, he wants me, he will take me away please help me", she begged me.
" Cyn, calm down please, you're freaking me out. Who did this to you?
I promise I'll beat the shit out of him. I'll just come back with the first aid box, stay here, you'll be safe here. I already called the cops, they are on their way. "
" No please don't leave me alone I beg you, please", she pleaded to me.
Don't open the door Ash, he will come inside and take me away. He tried to force himself on me."
With that, she burst out crying.
" Hey Cyn, Shhh, don't cry I'm here now, nothing will happen I'll protect you."
I firmly told her.
"But first you need to tell me who did this to you? So I can help", I whispered to her and pulled her into a hug.
Just then, the doorbell rang, " I think they are here, the cops."
"Kyle did this to me, she replied."
At the exact moment , I opened the door to see a very pissed off Kyle holding a knife and ugly bruises and cuts on his hand and face.
"Get out of my way", he glowered at me and pushed me aside, I was shocked by the sudden change in his behaviour, he was always nice to me.
" Stop running away from me, my little kitten, you have no idea how long I have waited for this, for you, to have you all by myself."
He was again trying to molest my best friend but this time in front of me, despite he is my brother, I was so ashamed of him but I won't let his bad intentions win.Cyndiana was too weak to stop him, her head was already bleeding, I knew I had to do something, I can't let this happen, so I did what a sane person would do at that point of time, I smashed the flower vase onto his head with all my force, he was surprised and his head started to bleed as well. It was the perfect moment to flee, I took Cyndiana's hand and helped her to escape, we were only at the backyard of my house when I heard his voice and foot steps approaching.
" Cyn, from here on, you are on your own, go find some help in the neighbourhood, meanwhile I'll try my best to stop him. Don't worry he is my brother, he won't hurt me.
NOW run and never look back. "
" Thank you Ash, I love you always and forever. "
We quickly hugged each other.
And she left.
" Bitch how can you do this to your own brother, now you have to pay for this. "
He told me.
Within seconds he stabbed me in my stomach multiple times, the pain was unbearable, tears were starting to form in pits of my eyes, that was the last thing I had expected from my own brother.
