Last night, I couldn't help but stare at Cyndiana, she looked beyond gorgeous in that elegant gown and she looked irresistible and I had to hold back a growl each time I saw a man looking at her with lust. I had a rough time controlling my emotions, I still remember the first time I kissed her, it was the best kiss of my life, I just couldn't resist the urge to kiss her again, to feel those warm lips crushed against mine, I knew she would be hurt at the end of the night but I had no choice, dad told me if I don't agree to engage with Stella, he would eventually kill himself, he even tried to, I had to think about my mother, she doesn't deserve this, I just want my parents to be happy.
As it was a fine Saturday morning, I decided to stay back home and watch TV, my engagement news was all over the newspapers, magazines, internet and TV as well, how I wish I could change the girl I'm engaged to. Not feeling the mood to watch TV anymore, I just went to bed to grab some sleep when I received a text from Stella; she was nice and beautiful as well but not more than Cyndiana. She asked me to go clubbing with her later at night so as to meet her friends, I told her I was not in a mood to, I knew I was being mean to her but I really needed some time to finally accept her in my life. I switched off my phone and soon drifted to sleep.
Cyndiana Collins POV
I woke up due to the loud sound of music , I was ready to kill that person who seemed to have disturbed my sleep, yesterday after those heavy sessions of crying i finally decided to let go, I knew it's going to be tough but I have to move on. I quickly went to take a shower and changed myself into a short and simple white dress and tied my hair into a messy bun and started to walk towards the kitchen. I made myself some coffee to get rid of the headache I had ,when suddenly I heard a knock at the front door, as I opened the latter, I saw Daniel and Melisa looking at me with a mischievous grin on their faces, I knew they went up to something .
"What are you guys up to now?" I asked them annoyingly.
"Clubbing, you need to get out of your shell honey", they both replied and pulled me into a tight hug.
"We're so sorry for not being there with you last night."
"No guys, this is not your fault, and look at me I'm perfectly fine."
"Let me do your makeup today Cyn, I promise to make it nice and we need to teach that idiot a lesson, Melisa suggested as she gave me a wink.
"No dear, I just want to be happy even if it means being without him." I replied while they both nodded at me.
It's been 4 hours since Daniel left us to get ready, I was in my room with Melisa getting ready for the night. Melisa was wearing a short and tight strapless black dress that perfectly hugged her body and flaunted her long and sexy legs. She tied her blonde hair into a loose bun with left some waving on the side and applied her makeup. She looked stunning.
"Now your turn", she smiled at me.
"I will make you the most beautiful girl tonight", she said and winked at me again.
After some minutes, I was standing in front of the mirror, I just couldn't help but stare at my reflection, this girl looked stunning and confident not the one I used to be, she was beyond gorgeous, she was wearing a short and long sleeves burgundy dress which hugged her body perfectly and was backless, her long light brown hair was left open and loose freely flowing down to her waist, she blinked her eyes several times and the mixture of gold and dark brown eye shadow produced a gorgeous accent of her deep brown hazel eyes making it more captivating and more attractive to gaze.
"Wow, you look amazing Cyn", Melisa said to me.
"So do you honey ", I replied and winked at her.
At exactly nine, we were standing outside the town's most popular club, it was crowded with lots of people, Daniel was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt with a leather jacket, he looked cute as usual. At first, I hesitated to go in, but my two besties pulled me inside, Daniel was familiar to one of those bodyguards so we had easy entrance. The moment we stepped into the club, I felt out of place, there was loud music , people all over the place, dancing crazily.
