Darren Walker POV
I already put her to sleep in our room. She looks just like an angel and so gorgeous in that white dress. How I wish I could look at her all the time. I can't wait to have you in my arms again.
I love you so much babe, I whisper to her and finally lay a sweet kiss on her forehead. I was about to steal a kiss again from her, yes I can't get enough of her when someone mindlink me.
"Alpha you are required in your office. " One of my pack warriors inform me.
"Ok, I'll be there in a while." With that I ended the mindlink.
I gave her a final look and slowly closed the door of our bedroom on my way out as I don't want to scare my little mate.
"Son I didn't wanted to disturb you but this is important. There has been news of some rogues trespassing on our land. I need you to check all the borders of our pack. And congrats for the news, I just hope she doesn't give up because it's not easy. "
" Thanks dad, don't worry dad she won't. I already told her, she is strong she won't give up, she promised me and I trust her completely . "

As far as that bitch is concerned, my step daughter will take care of her. My mate was too weak, pathetic human,
so I had a mistress who was a werewolf, Rose. She gave birth to a baby girl. I don't love her that much it's just I want the throne to be ours.
" Dad", she whispers.
"How many times I've told you to call me Alpha Robert and not dad, I don't want us to get caught."
" Yes Alpha Robert. "
" That's better, that pathetic human is alone in my son's house, go and put an end to her miserable life. I despise and hate her for turning my obedient son into a rebel."
Luciana Grace POV
All my life I have been craving to have my father's attention but he never had time for us. We lived in the same pack as his but he never acknowledge us not even once until he killed his own mate. I always envied his son Darren, I hated him to the core but when he grew up into this dashing and ruthless young man. I didn't cared about us being half siblings, I wanted him, wanted him all for myself.
When my mom died, I was only twelve, I finally thought dad would look after me and I'll get to live in his palace but to my utter surprise, he placed me into a boarding school. When he found out that Darren's mate was a human, he was furious as hell, that man is a crazy bastard, he planned to get her killed and find someone else to replace her.
But I easily convinced him that if I marry Darren, that throne would still belong to his so God damn Royal family. What an idiot, he believed me. He thought he was playing me while I was just using him as a ladder to get to Darren.
Now it's time to put into action what I've always thought of doing, killing that stupid mate of his so I could take her place to rule as the Queen of the Alphas.
Darren Walker POV
So far, everything is good. I've check with all the pack warriors on North, East, West and South borders. There are no traces of rogues trespassing but why would dad lie to me. Rogues are those Werewolves that have been expel from their respective packs for committing crime and going against their alphas.
It was midnight already, I need to get back to my mate, she might need me. A simply thought of hers makes me so happy, if this is called being in love, then I would forever want be in love with her. I miss her already. I was on my way back home, when suddenly I felt something plunge into my back. I immediately lost conscious as sleep took over me.
