I don't know should I feel happy to finally have my dream come true of a happy family with my mate and unborn pup or should I get worried about the deal which has been sealed decades before that can cost the lives of those who mean the world to me.
"We don't have much time. We need to act quick. " My Wolf kris reminded me.
So I mindlink my beta Xavier.
"I need you here as soon as possible to watch over the Luna and make sure no harm happens to her or else you know the consequences. I growled. "
He somehow knew that my Wolf was in control. So he did not argued. But I'm sure he wanted to add.
" Yes Alpha. "
Cyndiana Collins POV
His voice, him, everything about him makes me feel at home.
I was still unconscious but I heard every single word he said. I felt sad to see him broken, I wanted to wipe his tears but I couldn't, I could only hear him, feel him near me.
"Cyn please wake up sis, I miss you. "
Nadia whisper cried.
I wanted to wake up, I wanted to open my eyes and talk to them but I couldn't, I couldn't move not even an inch. I tried, tried and tried but in vain. I remain still, no movement, nothing. All I could do was to hear them. I don't know for how long until I passed out.
Xavier Rostove POV
It has been two days, still no reaction. Cyndiana was still unconscious, unaware of her surroundings but Bella said it's just weakness of being starved for weeks.
That night when Darren mindlink me I felt something was off. Now we are currently in his office discussing about a deal that he mentioned earlier.
" Look son, it was already decided. You can't go against the deal or else you will be dethroned from your King of Alpha position. " Alpha Robert told him."
"Dad I don't give a damn about the throne, for me, my family is and will always be my top priority. With or without the throne I'm still going to serve my people and protect them with my life."
"I know it's not easy but keep your feelings aside for a while, think about your people, what about their feelings?
They look up to you for everything, you can't leave them to die on wrong hands with no mercy. "
" I know dad, but after everything bad that happened I finally got my mate and I don't wanna lose her. "
" I completely understand, it's normal for us Werewolves to be protective of our mate, and having the blood of King of alphas, it's almost irresistible and impossible to stay away from our mates but one wrong choice, you might lose her forever. Don't act upon your feelings, use your intelligence. "
I was soo confused.
" Wait, can someone please elaborate on this God damn deal so we can look for a solution ASAP , I told them while they both let out a soft chuckle.
"Sorry buddy, we just got lost in words and"
Darren said but i cut him off quickly.
"Forgot that I exist, I said loud enough only to earn a low growl from them both in return. "
" I need to get married to someone else according a stupid deal which was sealed decades ago. Darren whispered mostly to himself but we all heard it. "
" What? " I said
" What? You will cheat on my best friend, I'll kill you, Daniel scowled at us but mostly to Darren. "
Standing in front of the door, stood the overdramatic craziest person ever Daniel Rostove. We all rolled our eyes at him.
