Darren Walker POV
It's been three days already and there's no trace of where my wife could be. I'm growing impatient and restless each second, my Wolf is demanding to come out. He wants to find her at all cost and being the king of alphas doesn't help either , it means being more powerful and more possessive of our mate than a normal werewolf. We've searched everywhere still we couldn't find anything that could lead us to her. I just hope she is fine. I miss her so much, I promise once I have her, I'll stick by her side all the time even in the bathroom I know it sounds weird but after this I feel like I should protect her all the time whether she is sleeping or awake.
Nadia Collins
"I know who might have took her, it's Kyle, I know him, he is very dangerous, he even killed his own sister, his own blood for Cyndiana. We need to find her soon or else. "
" Don't you dare complete that phrase", Darren growled at me.
Seriously! Ever since Cyndiana is lost I have to deal with a bunch of werewolves, not complaining, they are all hot and so desirable yet I easily get annoyed with them.
I was lost in my own thoughts when all of a sudden Darren fell onto his knees, is he begging me for pardon for what he said earlier well I don't mind actually I know he really loves Cyndiana and he really cares about her and I'm happy for them but hiding the baby news is much more difficult than I thought since he is the father. Yes, he apparently told me that he was the one Cyndiana got married that night.
"Are you just gonna stare? Or help us."
My little bubble of thoughts was broken by the one and only gorgeous beta, Xavier. Oh how I wish I was his girlfriend.
When all of a sudden Darren started screaming and howling as if he was in pain. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state all his pack members gathered. Everyone was shocked to see their strongest king of alpha so miserable. They all had tears brimming in their eyes and looked sad and worried, it was more like a movie scene.
Being a dumb ass, perhaps he is singing a song in his Wolf state I thought.
" I know where she is", he growled out so angrily that it sent shivers down to my spine. For a moment I felt like everything surrounding us trembled by the harshness of his voice.
Cyndiana Collins POV
"Look after her and make sure she doesn't run away or else you know the consequences", Kyle told someone.
"Yes", that person replied.
But that is not what surprised me , what surprised me more was how could I hear these voices despite those people were whispering at a distance from where I was being kept hostage. It kind of shocked me, I could even pick up on Kyle's steps leaving the place.
I waited for a few minutes until I made my move. I started screaming as if someone attacked me, as on cue that women rushed inside, she was kind of familiar to me, Kyle's mother, why was she helping him, she looked at me sadly.
"Why? " I asked her.
" I had no choice, he is the only one I'm left with", she whispered back sadly .
" How can you help him after everything he did to Ashley", I asked her with tears in my eyes.
She stayed still for a while.
"He loves you Cyndiana, he won't hurt you, just get married to him and everything will change. You will learn to love and accept him. "
" I'm already married and I'm pregnant. "
" What?
You are lying, this is not true. "
" Let me go please, yes this is true, my husband and my family might be searching for me. I begged her, please Julia, let me go. "
Unexpected, she said
" Leave and don't ever come back.
This is not for you, it's for the baby I lost mine, I know the pain."
"Thank you so much Julia, with that being said, I rushed outside only to find me standing on a Boathouse. Really how am I suppose to get out of this hell now, I whispered to myself. For all I can see is water and I can't swim, I curse myself for not having attended those swimming sessions which my mom forced me into, now how I wish I had learned, could have helped me to get out of this mess right now. There must be a way out, I just need to find it.
