Cyndiana Collins's POV
I was in my new office admiring the surroundings of well furnished furniture and attractive paintings on the white painted walls. When my gaze fell on the mesmerizing view of the beach through the glass, I stood near the window for a while admiring the beautiful scenery in front of me.
Suddenly someone came in with a pile of files and placed them on my table. I was shocked with the unexpected visit. I went to that person who has just fallen on the floor and I was amazed at his appearance, he was wearing casual black jeans and a white shirt.
A boy around my age 22 year old was looking at me oddly as if he saw a ghost but he was pretty good looking with light brown hair and green eyes. When all of a sudden, he broke the growing tension between us, "well I'm guessing that you are that cruel boss of mine who everyone warned me about?"
Looking at my poker like face, I guess he finally understood that I'm not to be played with. So he quickly changed the topic. I had to suppress an evil grin that was threatening to come out after my little drama.
"You are the new recruit, hi I'm Daniel Rostove your assistant", he introduced himself to me.
" Nice to meet you Mr. Rostove. I am Miss Cyndiana Collins as you already know."
"Please call me Daniel boss."
He interrupted me.
"Okay Daniel!
And call me Cyndiana by the way."
"Pleased to meet you", he said with a forced smile.
"Well let's get back to work before that devil man returns back from his trip from Rome to torture us."
I was shocked and wondered why he called Mr. CEO the Devil. I looked at him for an explanation but he only smirked at me.
