Darren Walker POV

I miss them so much so I made it my routine to check up on them each night when my beautiful mate is asleep and has no idea of me barging into her room. Usually I would wait outside her house until all lights were out, especially of her room. Then I would easily climb up and open her window to get in. It's been one month already since I've been doing that.

I've already killed dad's distant cousins and his sons that had survived during the attack and killed my mom with no mercy leaving my dad and me as the only Lycans. I watched as fear and tears rolled down onto their faces when I ripped out their hearts from their bodies while they are still alive and slowly die. I felt nothing, no remorse, nothing, I hung their other body organs on display so that other Werewolves and supernatural beings be it vampires, demons or warlocks would think twice before messing up with the new King of Alphas which is me.
No one I repeat no one mess with me.

Cyndiana was in her final month to deliver our pup. For humans the due date is nine months but for Werewolves it's four months and for Lycan it's just three I was worried for her. Since she has no idea about this I have to be by her side, I can't leave her alone when she would deliver our pup. I feel ecstasy thinking about holding my little boy or little girl into my arms. I wonder how would they look like me or like their beautiful mommy. Be it any gender I'll love him or her equally.
I was lost deep in my thoughts that I did not noticed Luciana approaching me while I sat in my office.

That girl is such a pain in the ass. All she do is to try to seduce me but duh I'm not interested.

"Hey hottie", she giggle winked at me.

"Hi", I greeted her.

She quickly walked towards me and sat on my lap leaving me with no time to escape. I tried to move her away but instead she grabbed my collar and brought her lips dangerously close to mine. That's it I lost patience and yanked her out from my lap. As I stood up, she looked at me angrily but do I care no.

"Darren why are you so distant?
She growled at me angrily.

"You're not my mate. "
I growled back wickedly.

I see as she flinched a little bit. Hurt flashed over her grey eyes.

" I am your chosen mate and you have no say over it. It's in the deal.
At least I'm not pathetic as her, I can protect and provide for your pack. You can breed a Lycan with me, which is not possible with her.
She is a bitch or should I say a desperate slut that just wants men's attention and money. "

That's it I lost my calm.
Before she knows it, she has my hands wrapped tightly around her throat.

" Make sure you know your place woman, you're just a normal werewolf I'm the Bloody King, it won't take me much to kill you or kick you out and let you live as a rogue. And trust me no one would want to take you into their pack, I repeat no one. Even if someone dares to do so. I will make sure to wipe out their existence from the history of Werewolves. I hiss at her and let lose my grip around her neck. She falls down and I storm out from my office.

"Darren I think you should calm down. " Xavier says worriedly as my eyes switch colours from my normal blue to yellow to bloody red.

" You look terrifying right now, Daniel slowly whispers.

"You're changing from werewolf to Lycan."
Dad said cutting us off.

"You might want to go for a run son.
While I look for solutions to delay this deal thing further more and teach you how to control your temper. "

Without any more delay, I sprit out from there with no actual destination in mind.

As far as the ceremony with Luciana is concerned I plan on telling her the truth so that the wedding would be cut off. I cannot love someone other than my mate.
