It's already been a month since I've joined my job and I'm quite satisfied with it. Well Daniel and I, we've already become best friends. We share almost everything with each other.
Most of my female colleagues don't like me as they all have a crush on Daniel while the latter always ignores them. Those stupid women believe that I am dating my assistant, well I don't give a damn care about them because I'm not interested in having a partner yet.
I still wonder how we became friends in the first place as I'm always in a serious mood and a well disciplined person while he on the other side he is so funny and care free but one thing that I adore about him is that he always brings a smile on my face whenever I'm sad or upset.
Daniel always tells me about his dates with his girlfriends and the night outs with them in discos.
On one fine day I decided to go back home early due to a severe headache when I accidentally bumped into someone at the entrance of the hotel, I was about to hit the ground when two strong arms held me up.
When I faced the person to thank him, I was surprised at the same time delighted to see a familiar face with the same captivating light brown eyes which had me enthralled by its beauty yet reminded me of all the hardships I went through during the last few years.
He was dressed in a white shirt which clearly revealed his six packs with a pale blue jeans and white trainers. When he saw me, he smirked at me as if he had noticed my nervousness ans discomfort. I pushed him away and quickly ran to the exit without glancing back. Once outside the building I took the first cab home..
