Night Fury

Detention: Week 2

RAPUNZEL

Instead of focusing on her homework, Rapunzel wondered what Flynn was doing. She was currently having second thoughts on checking the Slytherin out, she was sort of worried he might mess up his wound. Madame Merryweather will kill her if she didn't do her work right. No matter how much she tried to focus on the book she was reading, her mind drifted to the Quidditch captain instead. Other than worrying about his wound, she was actually thinking about their conversation yesterday.

She thought it was safe to say that she felt awkward talking with her ex crush. To be more specific, she still felt awkward talking to her crush, because somehow she still has, well, little feelings for him. And she tried to brush the thought away, she tried to brush him away, she tried to brush her feelings away. That was exactly why she failed to be on top once. She was so infatuated with Flynn, that he was always on her mind and she didn't have time to focus on her studies (just like what was happening right now). As much as possible, never talk to him again after his wound heals.

That's why it has to heal sooner, or else these little feelings will build up together to create a huge one.

While she was thinking hard about it, a question came up to her, "Why do you even like this guy?"

No, correction, "Why did you even like this guy?"

Flynn cares about nothing but himself, always looking in the mirror, always showing off and not to mention, he used to be friends with the Stabbington brothers. She didn't know what happened though.

"Hey, Rapunzel," someone's head sprouted beside hers, and called her out in a sing-song voice. She didn't even have to look to find out who it was.

"We know your secret," another head appeared on her other side.

"What secret?" Rapunzel asked the first head. Rapunzel has a lot of secrets, just having one spilled out would make her explode.

"We know you've been hanging out with Jack Frost," Rosetta started, "Tutoring him Mondays and Thursdays," Silvermist added.

"Getting in trouble with him, not to mention, defending you from the Stabbington brothers," Rosetta added more.

"You didn't actually think we wouldn't notice, did you?"

"That's because you didn't 'notice' it, you both were spying on us on purpose."

"Correction, spying on him; you just happened to be involved."

Rapunzel groaned. She should've known this was coming. Silvermist and Rosetta knew everything about everyone. She had encountered this before with the two knuckleheads (before, it was about Flynn).

The two slim figures moved to the opposite edges of her desk, both their elbows on top and their hands below their chins, "Tell us, Blondie. What's he like?"

"Girls, please-please find someone else to interrogate with, I need to study."

Rosetta's hand pulled the book down on the table, closing it shut. "We won't stop until you give us some answers, sissy," the red head placed her small hands back below her chin.

"We saw you together in the library, is there something between the two of you already?" The raven-haired asked.

"Uh....no. We're just–"

"—Friends?" Rosetta asked, blinking her eyes.

"Y-yeah. Now, if you'll excuse me–"

"Oh come on! We just wanted to know what it's like to hang out with the coldest yet the hottest guy in school!" Silvermist said.
