The Black Spectral Dog

JACK

His mind started to drift somewhere else. He was confused, but at the same time, he felt like all their questions have been answered. He has no idea what Merida had seen in the cave, and whatever matter she and professor Syrma were discussing about. A servant and the man in the moon? He was lost. But one thing's for sure, and Townend had confirmed it, he and Merida are two of the spoken ones in the prophecy.

"They're coming," Townend said abruptly.

"Who are?" Merida asked, her eyes following the old witch as she opened the door.

"Death Eaters," he followed Merida as she got out of the cottage. The aura from the outside wasn't the same as before. Multiple puffs of wind was heard from everywhere, and neither of them knew what it was or where it came from.

"Get back to the castle," Syrma said, grabbing Merida by the robes.

Emerging from the trees though, was a silhouette of a person. It was not long after when their number started growing and growing. Soon, they found themselves surrounded by people. Most of them were men, and they all looked like they were about to eat them. A hooded woman stood at the middle. Jack wished she should have just let her face hidden in the hood after he saw what's underneath it. It was an old woman...a very old woman. Even older than Townend, and they suspected her to be of a hundred years old or older. This woman, was beyond a thousand years old.

"I think not," she said with an equally old and raspy voice.

Townend immediately placed her right in front to protect them. He and Merida drew out their weapons.

However, something else made both he and the red head more shocked about. Standing by each side of the old woman, were both students of Hogwarts. Not just any student though.

"Patchy?" Jack said, his eyebrows crunching, "Sideburns."

The redheads smirked, "Hello, Frost," Sideburns said.

They heard a growl. The same one Merida heard before.

It was the bear, and its silhouette was the biggest amongst the Death Eaters. However, as it came nearer and nearer, its shadow became smaller and smaller, until it was a buff man that appeared. He has long hair and a beard, his eye was damaged just like the bear's eyes. Realization struck Merida as the man smirked at her.

He was an animagus.

He and Gothel shared a very private conversation, then soon, he disapparated.

Another man came heather. He had long black curly hair, a mustache and an amputated arm, matching a sharp hook to go along with it. He stood right beside the old witch. "Kill the old witch," she whispered, "But I need them alive," she said, pointing at him and Merida.

The hooked man drew out his wand and stepped forwards, "Gladly."

Jack thought fast and swung his staff, "I don't think so!" Ice emitted from his staff, and it blasted everywhere, hitting several Death Eaters including the hooked man.
