A Lion, a Badger, an Eagle and a Snake

HICCUP

This is exactly why Hiccup refuses to explore things beyond his interests. Exploring is a common word for him, it's what he always does, as long as he's in control, he knows what he's doing and he in fact wants to do things in his favor. Exploring other things is not as bad as it sounds; you get to have once in a lifetime experiences, gain fun memories and gain knowledge from them. The only problem with exploring and trying out other things is that, there's always some new disaster coming to prepare against. And there's no one else to blame, but him. He'll be okay trying something new and different at first, but then he screws something up and then gains another embarrassing memory that will haunt him for years. He'll be getting over it after a month, maybe, then he remembers it out of nowhere and keeps him up all night after 1 or 2 or more years later.

What's worse is though, he has his life planned out and he tries all his best to avoid more humiliation but still it finds its way to him. But when Jack handed 2 sickels to Merida made him blush. It was either Jack believed in him, or he was just being his friend. And now he thinks he has disappointed Jack too. Anyway, it's just a duel, and it's not even a legitimate one. No big deal.

But then again how can he win a real wand duel if he can't even cast a spell on a Ravenclaw girl, but this wasn't just any Ravenclaw. This was Rapunzel, the smartest girl in Hogwarts, the one he always got paired up with in class but never had mutual understanding, the one he once won over in class and now getting back at him for making him second again. Maybe he didn't have to cast a spell at all, because he knew Rapunzel would figure it all out before he even gets to his conclusions.

No wonder his dad looked at him none other than a talking fish bone, because that's exactly what he is.

"That in fact is a disarming spell: Expelliarmus," said Bunnymund, "it is a defensive charm that forces the victim to release whatever they were holding at the time. It is common to see this used in duels, to make an opponent release their wand."

He looked at Rapunzel, "You have been tending on spells and charms have you, Corona? Tell me, to whom do you practice this with, you clearly are getting a knack of this."

"I haven't practiced any spell with anyone, sir. I've read it in the books."

"But you tried it to one of my students, didn't you Rapunzel?" He grinned, "Stupefy, if you all remembered. It was a stunning spell that your friend here used on Patchy Stabbington. It is a charm that is used to render a target unconscious or semiconscious, as well as to halt moving objects. Fortunately, it wasn't strong enough to render Patchy unconscious. We'll soon work on that, but for now, we'll start with the Disarming charm. Since Rapunzel already knows how to work the charm, I'll be focusing on you three."

Why does Rapunzel always have to be the first in everything? Why does Ravenclaw have to be the first anyway? Always on top of the class, first to perfectly brew a potion in first year, and she stole his time with Jack in tutoring, but he did get to tour him around Hogwarts.

The professor was clearly a good Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, because he quickly learned how to make the Disarming charm work, usually it'd take him for a while to get it. But of course, he had read about the Disarming Charm, but unlike Rapunzel, he had to test things first to know how it works.

Although she can cast the spell, Bunny let her do it again first before the three of us.

"Expelliarmus!" with no difficulty, she was able to toss the wand out of the dummy's hand. Merida tried next, Hiccup was sure Merida could do it as well, and she's not one to let anyone be better than her at anything. She's quite aggressively competitive, maybe that's why she and Jack argue a lot.
