Truth be ToldTHE BIG FOUR
Her powers should've made Jack not only alive, but also well. He shouldn't have lost consciousness after she have healed him. She have healed him after all. Was the Killing Curse too powerful for anyone to bear?
She, Merida and Hiccup all sat in a circle at the foot of Jack's bed. They insisted on staying with Jack in the Hospital Wing and eat their lunch there. Gobber on the other hand, will be returning later in the afternoon. Since this morning, they haven't spoken a word to one another. Neither one of them were brave enough to ask. What were they supposed to ask though? They don't know.
Rapunzel felt Jack's blankets move and saw him squirming in his bed.
"He's waking up!" She said, approaching the white boy with her chair.
Rapunzel was the first person he saw as he woke up. Then came Merida, then Hiccup on his other side.
"Whe-where are we?" Jack asked.
He wasn't quite sure of what was already happening since...well he can't remember. A minute ago they were in the Forbidden Forest duelling with Death Eaters and passing out to waking up next to Rapunzel. Right now, it felt like it was happening all over again. Did he pass out twice? Can that happen consecutively?
"You're in the Hospital Wing, bud." Hiccup said. Not that he was mad at the boy, but Jack was upset for the fact that Hiccup kept his dragon from him. He'd most likely expect Hiccup to tell him first, let alone tell only him.
"How are you feeling?" Rapunzel asked, touching his arm.
"Spectacular."
They couldn't quite point out if he was being sarcastic or not. "How–how did I end up here? Something happened back in the Forbidden Forest that I-I can't point out." Jack said sitting up straight.
"Jack, you just got killed last night, lad!" Merida said, as if she, couldn't believe her own words. Who could blame her? Jack was killed the very night prior, and now he's alive and breathing, not a hint of death in his body.
"Then how am I alive?" Jack asked Merida. She didn't speak, both she and Hiccup merely looked at the blonde.
"I healed you," Rapunzel said plainly.
"Wait, what?" Jack asked softly.
"I have magic hair that glows when I sing." she said in conclusion.
"And heals, apparently," Merida added.
Jack touched his aching forehead, "That explains the singing I heard. I thought I was dead, and angels were singing." He said. But as he looked up to Rapunzel, her chin was down, obviously blushing.
"It could do more than heal. Jack wouldn't have fainted and have been better now. Perhaps the Killing Curse was too powerful for you to bear."
"Someone had used the Killing Curse on me?" Jack said in disbelief. "So I was unconscious the whole time? How long was I out."
