Kit woke up due to the sun's ray hitting his face that's beaming from his room's huge windows. He opened his eyes and saw Ming's gentle sleeping face just a couple of inches from him. It's too close that Kit's eyes cross as he examines the details of this Adonis' face. His face is still the face that Kit has in his memory; mischievous yet adorable, cunning yet soft, annoying yet precious. It just aged a bit, his jawline is now more prominent and his eyebrows are a little more pronounced than when they were in collage. He's still as handsome; a more cultured way of handsomeness in contrast with his younger carefree beauty. His lips are still those full lips that he loves, right now it's just a little... a little chappy...

Why are his lips still pale and dry? Kit placed his palm on his forehead. He's burning. His heart skipped a beat, but he doesn't know why. Am I worried about him?

Kit just shoved the question off his mind. He has more important things to think about, like lowering down Ming's temperature for one. So, he moved to get off the bed, but he can't. It was only then that he realized that one of Ming's arms is securely fastened around his waist and the other served as his pillow. His heart raised again when he realized that he's actually in Ming's warm embrace. His head is telling him to push Ming off the bed and let him roll to the floor. But his heart, his heart is firing confetti after confetti.

Ming groaned, making Kit freeze. He then pulled Kit even closer, effectively closing the remaining couple of inches that separated them. Kit's face is now pressed against Ming's warm chest, making him hear how fast his breathing and heart is, typical for someone who has fever.

I-I miss... No. Kit just closed his eyes and gently raised to avoid disturbing Ming. He peeled Ming's arm from his waist and stood up. He then covered Ming up to his neck. Then Ming slowly motioned to grab one of the pillows to hug it and buried his face on it.

Kit just sighed and shook his head then he walked out of the room.

"Ming," he heard his name being called by a very familiar voice. He forced his eyes to open but as soon as the light entered his eyes, his head ringed.

God, my head hurts like hell. Ming planted his palms on his temples and pressed hard. It feels like his brain is being pulled apart. Then he tried to open his eyes again. He saw a blurred figure of a man standing beside him. It took him a few seconds to form the figure into a clear picture. He saw the stern face of the most beautiful creature in this planet for him.

"KitKat!" He swears he almost jumped off the bed and hug the person if not for his hurting head and back. "Uiiii..." He hissed upon moving and making his head turn again.

"Lay still, idiot." Kit sat down on the side of the bed and placed the small table over Ming's torso after helping him seat down. "Eat this then take these pills."

"P'Kit," Ming's eyes are still wide. "You're here. What happened?"

"Just eat." Kit contained his annoyance. "I'm a doctor. I must not scold a sick person." He placed the spoon on the huge bowl of rice and chicken porridge he cooked.
