"Na na na..." Little Kit pressed his little hands together in front of Kit, his eyes were not just the usual puppy eyes he does when wanting something out of pure whim. This is something different, Kit can see it. His eyes are teary and sad. He knows that any wrong move will trigger this child's tears, and it would kill him by simply seeing this innocent child cry because he didn't grant a simple request. Those round puppy eyes, they're melting his heart down helplessly, like a candle thrown into a bonfire. He wouldn't mind letting the kid sleep with him, he would love to, actually. But this child comes in a package; where he sleeps, his father will. And that's what he wanted to advert."Just tonight, please." Although his doing his best, his voice is starting to break apart. "I don't pee on bed anymore, right dad?" He looked at his father who just nodded with a smile.
He wanted to refuse and break it to the child gently, but how hard will it really be to grant this child's small request? But why should he care? He just saw this child a couple of times, and this is Ming's child nonetheless. The very person he wanted to avoid. And why is Ming not saying something about this request? This opportunistic son-of-a-bitch! He wanted it too! But this kid's sad eyes, it's torturing him. He glared at Ming so he'll say something.
Ming just shrugged his shoulders, much to Kit's annoyance. He wanted to pick up one of the ceramic bowls on the table and break it on Ming's head.

"Honey," Aunt Song said gently after what seemed like eternity, giving Kit a glimpse of hope. "We need to go home. This is not our house."
"Angel?" The child turned to him for defense instead, but unknown to his innocent mind, between the two of them it is actually Kit who needs much saving right now. Then the inevitable started to happen. The boy started sobbing upon seeing that Kit didn't say anything to support him. His tears started to well up in his eyes, putting Kit in the brink of so much panic.
Oh shit, no, no, no! Kit almost cried himself upon seeing the kid's eyes, knowing he might have obliterated his young heart. Having your heart broken is not just one of the worst things you will experience in your life --- it simply is the worst thing. And grownups always find it difficult to deal with, how much more for a young child of five years old? They say, 'Never break a child's heart. It will change his perception that the world is good.' The thought that he'll be the one to break it is so heartbreaking itself.

"N-No," Kit finally voiced out, holding him in both cheeks. "It's okay, baby. You can sleep with me tonight."
I give up. Kit just sighed but smiled. He hates being overpowered, but he must admit, this is one of his sweetest defeat ever.
"Really?" He still continued with his pouting.
"Really." Kit gave him a reassuring smile and nod.
"Yehey!" The child shouted in triumph and lunged at Kit, making him almost fall from his elevated seat. Kit immediately welcomed him in his arms to hug and prevent him from falling. "I love you Angel."
"I love you too, baby." Kit instinctively replied without much thought. His heart is just filled with so much joy he forgot the consequences of his surrender. Ming will be staying in his room for another night for one.
This is just for tonight anyway. They will go home to Bangkok somehow.

Ming just remained seated and watched how his son use his charms to captivate his KitKat. Way to go boy. I might learn a thing or two from my five-year-old. He couldn't be prouder as a father.
