"How's dad P'Kaeng?" Kit sandwiched his phone between his ear and shoulder as he talks to his brother while picking up his things to prepare to leave the hospital for the day."He's doing fine, Nong." The person in the other line lovingly informed him. "Though he still can't get over the fact that he only got to see you for a day then you leave right away."
"Yeah," Kit sighed before continuing. "Me either."
"Thank goodness you broke up with that bastard." Kaeng let out a sigh of relief that made Kit smile as he went out of his office.
"It's a good thing I got a wakeup call," Kit admitted. "Or I might just keep myself blinded."
"Kinda ironic for a physician, eh?" Kaeng laughed at the thought.
"Yeah."
"So," Kaeng hesitated to continue. "Does this mean you'll be getting back together with that 'pretty boy'?"
"Hell, no, Pee." Kit frowned.
"There he is." A voice coming from the reception caught his ears. "Dr. Kit!"
Kit instinctively turned his head to the nurse who's stationed in the front desk of the hospital who called him. He saw a man in leather jacket and tight jeans standing in front of it, holding a huge bouquet of white flowers wrapped in a purple decorated paper and a small brown paper bag.
"P'Kaeng," Kit said as he walked towards the counter. "Gotta go." He then ended the call before his brother can ask questions and inserted his phone into his pocket.
"Yes, Nurse Fern?" Kit smiled sweetly as he approached the station.
"Dr. Kittinan?" The man in leather jacket asked.
"Yes?" Kit can't hide the confusion in his eyes.
"I have a delivery for you." Then he offered the bouquet and the bag to him.
"You must have got the wrong person." Kit remained puzzled so he refused the package.
"Let me check, Sir." The guy looked at his delivery sheet. "Dr. Kittinan Intochar, Clinic no. 209 of Khomfai Bonthungfa Medical Center. Is that you, Sir?"
"Y-Yes."
"I got the right person then, Sir." The man smiled warmly and handed the package again to him. "Please sign here." He gave him a pen and a sheet of paper fastened to a hard cardboard back.
Kit hesitated but accepted the flowers and the bag then signed the sheet handed by the delivery man to him. Kit was shocked when he finally identified the flowers he got, pink-tinted white tulips, his favorite. The man gave him a wai after getting the sheet back and walked out of the building.
"Who is it from, Dr. Kit?" The nurse excitedly looked over the counter.
"I-I don't know." Kit said while checking the flowers with wide eyes. He must admit, they are glorious.
