"Ming?" Forth said as they tend to the dishes on the sink. Ming turned his head towards his senior as he passed a soapy plate towards him. Forth insisted that they; him, Pha, and Ming; be the ones to attend to the lunch's mess despite Aunt Song's protests. They pushed their wives out to Kit's haven to discuss what they will do here in Chiang Mai for their vacation.

"What Pee?" Ming smiled at him.

"How you'd been?" Forth asked with so much longing. "I haven't seen you for ten years."

"Not really good, to be completely honest, Pee." Ming stared at the soapy sink with a sad smile on his face. "Things had been really rough for me, as well as for P'Kit."

"Then," Pha referred to him for the very first time since he arrived today, making Ming's heart skip a beat out of anxiety. "Why did you leave our Kitty?"

"I-I know you all hate me for that." Ming refused to look at Pha, maybe out of fear. "But believe me P'Pha, I didn't want to and it was the most painful thing that happened to my life."

"I think I get you." Pha said as he wipes the plate handed by Fort to him. "But I want you to know what happened to our Kitty because of you."

"I actually know, Pee." Ming confessed. "I knew everything that happened to him."

"He told you?" Pha's surprised. I can't believe Kit will open up to him that easily.

"No." Ming's eyes saddened again.

Pha sighed in relief, his Kitty didn't give in just yet.

"Then how?" Forth's wondering.

"I had him followed for five years after I left." Ming confessed.

"Y-You did what?" Pha couldn't believe his ears. Ming can really be creepy at times.

"Yeah, I did." Ming is ashamed that he had to do that. "I just wanted to make sure he'll be fine. I hired someone to follow him around. Then when I learned that he's somehow fine already, I stopped."

"You're a creep Ming, you know that?" Pha sighed, unable to hide his shivers.

"Things you do for love, Pee." Ming smiled as if to justify his actions.

"Why are you here in Chiang Mai, by the way?" Forth stirred the conversation to a lighter path.

"My dad got a heart attack last year," Ming started. "And our company branch here in Chiang Mai is not doing really good. So, I came to take over the business and save it."

"So," Pha said under his breath. "You came here for your business, not for Kitty."

"Yes and no, P'Pha." Ming answered them. "Yes; for the business but especially for P'Kt. And no; I have another reason why I came here."
