Marcus pov.
I wake up to the sound of birds in a nearby tree outside.I was still in my full clothes and in a different room,I look across and Kelsie isn't there.
Ugh what a night I had.

"I'm not gonna read you a bed time story."I shoved her hands away as she held the little mermaid in her hand.I didn't even know where she got it from.
"Come on Marc,It's gonna be fun."She wiggles her eyebrows in amuse and a smile is plastered on her face.
"You know,I don't get why you're always so grumpy."She puts the book on the bedside table.She walks over to the left side of her bed and takes a seat right next to me.
"I'm not grumpy."I protest like a little kid.She smirked at me when I did that.
"Yeah right."She's Just about to stand but I pull her back and she lands flat on the bed on her back and I'm right on top of her.I stare into her big brown eyes and they take my breath away.
"Wha-what are you doing?"She staters.I tack a strand of black hair behind her ear.
"You owe me big time."I whisper in her ear,I literally heard her gulp.
I burry my head into her hair and smell it.It smells really good.
"Wha-what are you doing."She's shaking.I smirk because I've got her right where I want her.
"Protecting You."I reply.We stay like this for a while before she pushes me and I land on my butt on the floor.I whine a little at how stupid that was.
"There's much more were that came from.She says and walks away.
"You messed up dude.If you like her just tell her."Jax says.I roll my eyes and tell him to shut it or else he won't have any Mate.
I get up and march towards Kelsie and hug her from behind.
"Okay can we just cuddle cause it makes Jax happy."I say.She try's to push me away but I'm too strong.This is the first time I've been pushed away by a lady.Mostly it's the other way around.
"Come on,someone can walk in on us and-"She is interrupted by the door being cracked open.We freeze as a sleepy Wendy is at the door rubbing her eyelids.Her hair is in a mess and she's wearing an oversized shirt.
She later spots us and lifts an eyebrow."Am I interrupting something."She folds her arms.Kelsi pushed me away and jolts away from me.
"What...pshh no."She says awkwardly.
I rolled my eyes as I walked towards wendy and pushed her out of the room before telling her to find her mate and slamming the door in her face.
"What was that!"Kelsie yells.I fold my arms and put on a straight face.
"She's always around us at the wrong time."I say.
"Us"She air quotas the word.
Okay this is weird.I just called her and Me us.
"Look Marc,one day you're kind and the other you're different.I think you need to get your head straight."She opens the door and leaves.
She's absolutely right.I don't know what's wrong with me and it gets worse with each passing day.One day I don't want her close to me and the next day I'm saving her life.One day I feel nothing and the next I feel something.I need someone to talk to.I sat on her bed thinking that I hardly realized the darkness that took over my eyes.
