Marcus pov

I waited for her to show up.After all we shared a room together.

"Apologize now!"Jax was furious.I know this was my fault but he got jealous too.I can't believe he's blaming this all on me.

"No!"I shot back at him.I was too full of pride.Not realizing that am talking out loud I hear a knock on the door and my gaze shifts to the frame.

"Mr Della Rubio...She says she wants to leave."Griselda says.Hardly loud.

"What!She can't do that.Where is She."I'm starting to get furious again.

"She's in the stables.She said she doesn't want anything to do with you or you..."she clears her throat."Period pains."

"Well if she want to stay in the stables during the season on Autumn...tell her to be my guest."I shut the door.She was being stupid and stubborn.I never had time for this.Jax bowed his head like he was sad.Oh heck yeah he was sad.

"Of all of the mates in the world you gave me a stubborn one.She can't even follow a simple rule."I wish the moon goddess was hearing me out.

To cool of I stripped out of my work clothes and took a shower.Once I was done I got into my blankets and glanced at the clock.It was 10:30pm.I turned off the lights and went to bed.Ih I wish I went to bed.

I kept on turning but something was not letting me sleep.Damn it.I had this guilty feeling inside.
After a while I looked at the clock again.It was almost midnight.The wind blew angrily on my window causing it to open.I got out of bed and closed it.If it were this cold what more outside?

"I'm gonna regret this."I say to myself as I walked out of the house to the stables.I checked every cubicle until I found her.Sleeping peaceful at a corner on a stack of hay.She was cold.I sighed heavily and approached her.

"Hey...It's getting cold out here."She didn't respond.
"Hey are you listening?"I speak a little louder.She just turned.
"Look if you want an apology forget it."I shake her a little and she finally opens her eyes.

"What are you doing here?"
"My house my rules."She frowns.

"You need to get Inside now."

"I don't wanna."She's being a baby."Not until you apologize for being such an ass earlier."she adds.

"Oh I was an ass?you-"

"What do you call a person who drags you here.Gives you commands,Threatens you using her best friend and almost Marks you without her permission."Okay she got me on that one.

"And what do you call protecting someone from a dangerous Alpha who wants to kill her!"I spat.She gasped as if I just took a toy from her little arms.

"What do you mean?"Het tone now steadying.I run my hands through my hair.

"Elijah is here haunting for someone.From your story.You know the one you told me,I think it's you."she blinked a couple of times before speaking.

"You are just scaring me."I sigh heavily.

"Trust me on this one.He is bad ass and he will do anything to get what he wants."It was quite for a while.

"Fine I'll come with you."she said barely a whisper.Jax wiggled his tail in which I told him to nick it off.I followed closely behind Kelsie as her scent was all over me.I just wish I could have her all to myself.

"Well you can cause she's our mate."Jax speaks to me.

"Your mate not mine.But she smells so good."I respond.

"Well suit yourself."I see him act like he's the boss.Ugh What a dog.

We are finally in the house and we go straight upstairs.I know Jax is gonna try something on her so I tell her to take the bed as I sleep on the couch.She looked shocked.

"So you're just gonna leave me here.On this bed.Alone?"She looked so confused.
"Well yeah.I thought you would feel uncomfortable after Jax tried to mark you."I out more emphasis I On Jax than me.She smiled and tacked some hair behind her ear.

"I forgive you for almost sucking the blood from my veins."she smiled at me.My mouth formed into an 'o' shape and I frowned.

"I didn't apologize.And it's not sucking it's Mating Which will never happen honey."I wink at her and leave her alone in the room as I am in my way down stairs to the living room.
