After the After party

My heart was racing,I couldn't believe my father agreed to the trade.But we had to stick to it.Nathaniel led me to the grand hall of his packs estate.It was already prepared for the banquet,as if he already knew Father would agree to it.

"Fetch the stylists and have everything on her redone.Id like tonight to be special."He licked his bottom lip as he stared at me from top to bottom. God I hope this really works.He put out his hand and I took it. He led me to the middle of the hall where he paused for a bit.

"You smell ravishing. Is that lavender?" I nod. "Ah."
"So this is the famous sex dungeon."I ask.

"Those would be upstairs."A feminine voice said and a female figure walked into the room. I saw her at the meeting in the valley and from her tone and the was she spoke to tjr alpha i knew tjay could be no one but Nathaniel and Marcus' sister. She walked to the liquor cabinet and chugged an entire bottle of tequila before breaking the bottle and looking back at me in a bitchy way.

"Don't mind her,she's just upset she didn't get the change to rip Marcus' mates throat open for killing her Mate."Nathaniel says.

"Wait,you're Elijah's mate?"

"Was."she interrupted. "Now I'm just a widow and I refuse to take another mate on this red moon."While she was talking I noticed there was no one in the grand hall.I don't think our plan was going to work.

"Uh where is everyone?" I asked.Marcus tilted his head to the side. Like he knew something was up. "You said there was going to be a celebration.

"Yeah...I changed my mind." Oh fuck!

"Well I demand one, I'm not going to be your mate and not have a fabulous ball." I look at my finger nails trying to be bitchy as much as I could.Even though it was all an act I was scared in the inside. What if I didn't work out, What if he marks me?

"Darling from what I heard,you don't like parties."he tried to play coy. I sighed heavily.

"Alpha Nathaniel if you're going to be this cheap then someone should have Informed me."

"Cheap? Lovely if you want a ball I'll give you one right now but do not call me cheap.As a matter of fact I have a gift for you." He signaled one of the guards who brings a black box towards me. Nathaniel opened it and placed a golden crown with jewels on my head. "After tonight you will be my Queen and they will be peace among us,finally." I snicker and he raised an eyebrow.

"You break two treaties in a day and now you speak of peace?"

"All for the well-being of us all." He replied. I take off the crown and stared at it. If I had to pull it off I'd have to be very convincing but not too convincing.

"Tell me I'll at least have a seat. A...throne next to you." I add.

"Well this one is a bit too demanding."Natalie says.

"Anything you want."Alpha Nathaniel says ignoring her sister's statement. I smile politely and force myself to look into his eyes.

"Then we better get this party started." I grab a glass of wine from one of the people who serves us some drinks.

We sat at the table as the feast began. Everyone was drinking and dancing.Music played through our the entire house. I put on a fake smile but I'm sure Nathaniel could tell something was wrong.

"Tired?" He whispered into my ear and I nod.He takes my hand gently and helps me up. "Let's go to bed then." Oh God. Grabbing a bottle of wine we head upstairs into his room. It was cozy, fumed with the scent of weed. The beddings were black and satin. He led me first into the room before locking the door behind him. I stood there staring at the exits Marcus told me about and he was right about every inch of the masters bedroom. Nathaniel wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck which sent a cold chill down my spine. The plan was to get me there at the moons highest peak and it wasn't until another twenty minute. I slowly let myself from his grasp and grabbed his hand and led him to the bed. He was falling for my charm and it seemed a bit too easy for me. We sat on the bed were he tried to kiss me and I dogged it.

"So this is the famous bad ass Alpha Nathaniel's room?"i stall.He breaks away and sighs.

"Yes." He tried to kiss me again and I get off the bed to the shelf of pictures and trophies.

"And what are there for?"i asked why my back faced him. He hugged me from behind. This was the hardest part.

"Mostly just pack games I've won over the years." I look at tjr clock and only 3 minutes have passed. I turn to face him.

"I see I got lucky then." He chuckles.
"And so did I."he adds.

"I tell you what,how about we hope into the shower?"I bat my eyes at him. He smiled widely and let go of me.

"I'll get the shower running."he heads to the bathroom. I quickly take my necklace off which had a compartment in it.

"Now remember," Mother says. "This necklace has a compartment with a snakes venom which will paralyzed him for 20 minutes. Make sure he takes in with a drink." She cups my cheeks.

I rush over to the bedside table and pour myself a glass of wine and put the drug into the wine bottle. I wait for him to come out before I place it to my lip.

"Wait!" He says and I freeze,my heart beating really fast. He walks to me slowly half naked and looks me dead in the eye. He picks up the wine bottle still keeping his eyes on me. "A toast to a new kind of peace." He pours himself a cup and clinks his wine glass with mine. He slowly takes a sip and I chug it down which encourages him to do the same. He puts the cup down and walks towards me again releasing a strap off my shoulder before kissing my neck.working his way up to my chin before taking another strap off causing my dress to fall to the floor. He kisses my neck again but suddenly stops.

"Where's your necklace?" He asked. I swallowed the lamp that formed in my throat and then I gained the courage to speak.

"It was getting tangled with my hair so I took it off." He smiled and kisses me one more time before blinking a couple of times. The drug was starting to take its effect. He looked at the wine bottle before looking back at me. I turned his neck to kiss his mouth for a few seconds before he pulled apart. He tried to walk to to bedside table but stumbled a little bit.

"Oh you're really good." He laughed before making his way towards me angrily. He knew,he bloody knew. I tried to make a run for it but he was too quick,he held the door handle and pushed me to the bed. This eyes turned a red color. He's mad,he's really mad.
