Wendy pov

"Breath,take your time.Its important to always time your target...well a moving target."Andy points a crossbow to a tree before pulling the trigger.It hits the bullseye and he smiles before handing it to me.

"Come on,we've been at this for 2 months now.i know how to track,hunt and confirm a kill.Can we move on from this lesson?"He looked at me with a concerned face.

"I've been doing this since I was 10,you...you're not even half way through the training.Liam asked me to teach you the basics and that I will do."He grabs the crossbow and reloads it.He moves behind me and places both his hands on mine to guide my aim at the target.I could feel the warm air he exhaled on the side of my cheeks as he glanced at the Target.i couldn't help but look at him through the corner of my eyes."Now this is the easiest part.Just Aim and relax."he said softly.

"I am relaxed."

"No,I can feel you shaking Wendy.You need to relax."he said so calmly.I closed my eyes for a second before opening them again."Good,now pull the trigger."

I pulled the trigger and it hit the bullseye.He slowly let go of my arms before facing me."Not bad,next time we do knife throwing."He says as he picks up the bag of weapons next to him and we head back to the house.

I can't believe it's been 4 months since I last saw Tristan and Kelsie.To be honest I try not to think about them much.They where my friends,Kelsie being my closest friend but I had to weigh the fact that she's one of them and I,a hunter.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Ansel who came rushing into the huge mansion doors right after us.

"Guys,you need to see this."He wore a concerned look on his face.

"When did you notice this?"Andy said as he looked closer at the fence that was tempered with.It looked like something got into the estate grounds.Ansel rubbed his head.

"Just now.The footprints around the fence are what confused me."Ansel said.He was the expert on tracking wolves but he seemed really concerned even for a tracker.Yes that's right.Hunters are categorized in 2.We have worriers and trackers and Ansel was our expert tracker.

"The prints are warm.We have a loose werewolf in our territory."Everyone gathered around."not just any wolf,a rabbit-wolf."Before I knew it everyone was gathering their knives,axes,guns and bows.

"Ansel,search the north east,Matt and Julia,the south and agora and I will take the west."Andy said.

"Whoa wait what about me?"I asked concerned.Andy sighed before facing my direction.

"You go back in the house and you don't move.You'll be safe there."

"Bull shit.You've been teaching me to hunt not hide."

"I know but You don't know what we are dealing with.One bite or a scratch from this thing,then you're marked.It won't stop until it kills you."

"But-"

"Wendy!Trust me."He pulled me back into the house and locked the door.I couldn't believe they treated me like a liability.But then i guess I need to prove myself.I smirk.

I grab a shot gun and use the back door to make my escape.If i catch this thing then Andy and the others will know I'm not just this defenseless girl they think I am.

It took me hours but I managed to find Agora and Andy and followed them at a distance keeping my eyes wide open for this lone wolf.

We had to be outside for hours because it was now getting dark.
