Chapter 20/He's my mate

Hey I'm back...My Exams where hectic but alright.I just hope I've got the perfect score for standard.Im sorry I've been away for almost 3 months but since I'll have a lot of free time to myself I'll be writing...a lot.And I'm kind of having trouble with how the story should go so if you have any suggestions please comment or send me a message.I'll really appreciate it...Thanks for reading ❤️❤️

Marcus pov

"I take his side cause he is my mate."She said so confidently.Her head up high and as proud as a peacock.She was kidding...right?

"Trust me.You guys have him all wrong.He is kind and sweet and-"
"That's because his supposed to be kind and sweet to you.To the rest he is some fucking lunatic who destroys and divides packs!"I intervened.I felt so angry that I hit the tree that was by my left and it shuttered to pieces.
"Look I think you have the wrong guy Marc!"Now it was a yell zone.She waved her hands in the air Almost as if she was surrendering.

"No I don't."My teeth where clinched together.I hated the fact that she didn't believe me.Why wouldn't she believe me.Did he get her brain washed?
"Look Marc."she walks up to me."I don't want to be your enemy but you leave me no choice.If you dare come an inch closer to my mate you will regret it.And if what you say is true about my mate having yours I'll deal with it...alone."She pocked my chest and I stumbled backwards.She grew stronger and more confident.When we were younger she always seek for my protection against the other pack members who seemed to bully her.I put them in their place each and every time.Now she's here acting all high and mighty.

"If it involves my mate...The one who truly didn't judge me the second I met her.The one who found out what I did to my father and didn't judge me...The one who's in danger and probably hates me for not protecting her."I took a step closer and looked her in the eyes."Then I will be a part of it."Her jaw dropped.Jax was about to take over but I didn't grant him access.Natalie took a step back noticing the struggle I was having with Jax.
"What?Afraid I'm gonna kill you?"I said in a hoarse voice.

"I didn't say that."She mummers But I cut her.
"You where thinking it."She took a deep
Breath before she spoke."Look Marc.You're my big brother.I don't want to fight you."
"And I don't wanna fight you either."I paused."You're my little sister and I promised mother that I'll take care of you...But I also promised her that I'll keep my Mate safe when I find her."She bowed her head.She always hated talking about mother.Even when she knew that everything I relate to Mother is true.
"Just go Marc..."she turned and started to walk away.I knew she was butt shit  mad so I didn't want to make it worse.I just let her be.I watched as her speed changed faster as she exceeded the woods and then she finally disappeared.

I shifted back into my wolf form and ran back to the pack house.Marcus and Will seemed to be busy while Tristan was in the game room playing COD.Sometimes I wondered if he was Alpha material.He was always cool and never seemed to panic and yet he was the one leading the rebellion.

"Hey there's another controller."Tristan said as soon as he noticed me standing by the doorway.I was so deep in my thoughts that's I zoned out.I reacted by takings the controller and taking a seat next to him.We played for what felt like 2 hours and I had the most shoots.

"So tell me about your mate?"Out of no where he asks.I sigh heavily."I didn't mean to..."
"No it's fine.I might as well tell somebody someday."I put the controller on the table and seat back.

"Her name is Kelsie.She has straight black hair and a dark skin complexion.She is very notorious and her eye are brown...You can get lost in them."I smile a little."I met her at a local Tavern.To be honest,with all that happened to me and my dad I didn't want a Mate.I was so scared of hurting someone else that I shut everything good in my life.I turned to business where nothing is personal."I stare into his blue eyes.He looked as if he was going to cry.Heavens help me.

"I'm still waiting for my Mate.I can't take the job of being Alpha if I don't have one.Im also hoping she's out there.And when I find her.I will do my best to protect her...That I swear."Tristan's voice becomes darker.I felt really guilty for not keeping my word to mother.Tristan was a nice guy and one of the few I've shared some information about my life with.I admire him.

"Keep up with that spirit and Elijah will be bagging to have mercy on him."Luis said as he watched me break a thick log in two.Lately,I have to admit,I've been up on my game.Jax and I are finally interacting and I've finally found someone to confide in...Tristan.Turns out we have a lot more in common than you think.Luis has become more fond of me.I can see this from how comfortable he feels around me.Marcus and Will are training the other troops for the big day...Independence day as some like to call it.

After working out I headed straight for the showers.I stripped until I was completely nude and stepped into the shower.

"Mate...Mate!"Jax said.I sighed heavily
"I know buddy but we need to wait a little longed."
"No Marc...our mate is in trouble."he spoke again and My eyes widened.
