It's been over and hour and Andy is not here.Thats what you get for being to comfortable with someone you hardly know.thats it,I'm not staying here.I open the door wide and run into Andy,he's still muddy and smells like a wet skank.
"You said an hour and I've been here for more than an hour."
"Technically you're the one who said an hour,I don't remember agreeing to that."he says.
"Don't be a smart mouth,doesn't suit your emo look."I give him my back and walk away.He slams the door shut behind him making me jump.He's irritated,good.
"So are you gonna tell me what the freak is happening?"
"I will Wendy,After you dine with me."
"Ugh,dude I just wanna know what's going on."
"And you will,I gave you my word remember?Now go down stairs and take a left,there you'll find Gustavo and he'll take you to the dinning room where you'll wait for me.I won't be long.I just need to get out of these clothes.Unless of course you prefer sticking around."he smirked.I rolled my eyes and walked out.
Gustavo was a blond haired guy with big green eyes.He was not as tall as me and had a funny accent.He reminded me of my ex boyfriend,Justin,In some way.
"Ah, lady Wendy.I trust Sir Andrew will be with you shortly?"I nodded and he directed me to the dinning room.Room?more like a dining hall.The place was huge.The table was made out of expensive wood and the floor covering was just majestic.I sat on one of the chairs and waited patiently for a good 10 minute,yes I counted,for Andy who seriously had issues being on time.The two doors slowly opened as a bathed Andy walked in.He rubs his hands together and smiled devilishly."Now,whose hungry?"
"You seemed irritated."He says as he chews on a piece of steak.I poked the streak on my plate not sure if it was beef or human."Not hungry are we?"
"Well let's say I'm checking for evidence of a tattoo."Andy chuckles.We are not werwolves and werewolves don't eat humans at least not after the era of Deucalion."he chuckles.
"So then what are you?"
"Human,like you except more-"He plays with the rim of his wine glass,"Special."
"Special?"He snaps his fingers and desert is served.
"Yes wendy darling...Special.You See for generations there have been wolves and with that hunters and you my dear friend are looking at the last of the hunters clan."
"Great,so you can help me save Kelsie and all this will be over."My heart was lifted.Im human and he can't hurt me,if he wanted to he would have already.He gives me a sympathetic look.
"I'm afraid your friend is far from saved."He puts the desert folk on his plate and it makes a "cling" sound."you see Kelsie,your friend,she's one of them."I sprang on my feet.
"Impossible,If she was I would have known."
"Well,you didn't know and I'm happy I told you.Now you can stop daydreaming of saving your friend and joining the club,like your mother did."
"What?"I was getting angrier by the moment.
"You're from France born of the Silver family who spent 2000 generations hunting down these abominations-"
"Stop"
"Your family spent their entire life training and fighting to make the world better.You are stronger than the average human wendy."
"Stop please."I didn't buy a word he said.
"This is what your mother wanted when she left you at that orphanage,she made me swear to never let you off my side and I didn't,I kept an eye on you this whole-"
"I said stop!"My hand slammed on the table."Is everyone in my life just a bunch of lairs?"I wanted to be strong but tears ran down my face.
"You wanted to know didn't you?"
"Could you be less of an Asshole?"Ansel walked up to me and hugged me."For God sakes she just found out her friend is a wolf and she's a silver."He wipes the tears off my face.I hated feeling helpless.
"Look,Valeria wanted her to know what she was before her passing and it's the least I could do for her."
"But not like this,she's fragile and emotional,she needs time."
"Which we don't have."He stood up to full length."We have the next Alpha of Marcus's pack.We can put a silver bullet in his chest right now and she has to be there."Andy says.
"How did she die?"I finally spoke.
"Andy please no."Ansel begged but Andy ignored him.
"murdered,by Alpha Elijah."I fell to my knees."Now you know what this species is capable of.As a matter of fact,you need to see what they're capable of."
He led Ansel and I down a dark underground tunnel that was beneath the house.It smelt really bad and I heard echos of dripping water.We then came upon a column of cells.
"These are real silver,prevents them from escaping."Ansel says."You don't have to be here wends."
"I really do."I said heavy heartedly.We stop right in front of a metal door."Why is this one so isolated?"
"That's because it was designed for Alphas who are strong than the rest of the pack members."My heart was racing and I came up with the shittiest idea.
"I wanna kill it."Both Ansel and Andy looked at me.
"Woah wendy we don't have to go there-"
"Andy you're the one who said it's in my nature."He gave me a sympathetic eye.
"Whatever you want."The door slowly open and it was dark Inside.I couldn't see clear but the Wolf boy was kneeling right before me bowing his head.He was covered in mud and it looked like he was tortured to the brig of death.
"Please I need to find her."I hear him whispering,hardly breathing.He was bound in chains and I think he couldn't break them no matter how hard he tried."My mate,she must be scared and alone."he adds.
"So,what's it gonna be,you rip his heart out or cut his head off?"
"Andy what the fuck,she's new."
"I'll go for the heart."Andy smirks at Ansel and hands me a sharp dagger.I grab the prisoners hair and he winces as I force him to look at me.
"No."the words escape my lips in a whisper as my eyes widen.
