Kelsie pov

I entered my room,well Marcus room and began packing my stuff.I cant believe I was going to be free. Or that I didn't want to but I just had the best days of my life.Marcus is not a great person but am surely gonna miss Griselda and Jesse.
I was about to pack my last pair of shoes when Marcus entered the room and leaned on the door frame,Hands in his khaki pants.His hazel eyes looked into my brown ones and for a moment all I saw was nothing. No feelings nor emotions.Nothing.

I knew it was all just in the heat of the moment.
I grabbed my stuff and rushed over to Wendy's room.

"Wendy we need to leave."I opened the door to her room.She stood at the other side doing her make up.

"What?Why Kay?"She turned to gaze at me.eyes wide open as she gazed at my Luggage."Omg Kelsie...I'm so sorry."she hugged me."Do you want me to kick him were the sun doesn't shine for dumping you?"

"No that won't be necessary.Besides I wasn't digging the whole bodyguard thing."I chuckled trying to make a funny statement.

"But he-"
"But nothing.if It wasn't meant to be then it wasn't meant to be."I rubbed her shoulder.Her blue eyes where filled up with pity.
"I know it's just that with all that happened back home I was really hoping you had a nice Life after 18 years of living a shittty one."

"Look wendy...So long I have people Like you and Nick in my life then I'm fine."She gives me a hug."I love you better half."She buried her head I'm my hair.

"Love you too wendy."

"By the way Who is this Nick guy?I really have to meet him."

"Well he's not an easy target for he is hard to find."I chuckle.I helped her pack up and when we where done we took a carb back to my apartment.

"So It's not the mansion of Mr Della Rubio but it will do."I said as we unpacked our clothes.Wendy didn't seem to care about my shitty apartment.That showed me what a good friend she is.
She always stood by my side.She even got rid of the bullies for me when we were still at the orphanage.
She was always there and even after four years,she showed me the love I needed.I guess running away from an Orphanage with your best friend at 14 pays off.

"So is that a good idea?"I snapped out of my thoughts when I realized I zoned out.
"Huh?"
"You weren't even listening Kay."She whined."I was thinking of staying here...With you."She beat her lashes a couple of times before smiling warmly.
"Wendy that's a great idea.I really need the company right now."I hugged her tightly.
"Okay you are squeezing me."We pulled apart.
Her soft eyes sparkled.She was always the dreamer..And she always achieved her dreams.Well except the one where she marries a prince.
"Hey what's that?"I grabbed a little box from her bed.It was rapped up and I didn't know what it was.
"Oh it's a camera.I got it for you as a birthday gift."

"What... you didn't have to."I tied to give it back but she just insisted."It's yours and I can give you much more."she smiled warmly.
"Look I have to go cause I need to get a few stuff at Walmart.You want anything?"

"Oh no am fine."
"Good and I ordered a pizza and it will be here before dinner.The money is on the top shelf."And with her last words she slammed the door shut and I was left alone in the apartment.I Unwrapped the cameras wendy bought me and it was beautiful.I set it up to see if everything is working fine and it was.I decided to make a video of me taking the serum But was interrupted by a phone call from a private number.

"Hello..."
"Hey Kelsie It's Marcus."I felt like my spirit just jumped out of my body."Uhm are you still there?"
"Yes...How can I help you."My voice turned meaner than before.How dear he calls me after his bad behavior this past week.

"I just wanted to know if you took the serum...yet."I could sense worry in his voice.I rolled my eyes.
"No but that's what I'm trying to do.You know,so that I don't become a burden to you."
"Just take the serum okay?"I could sense authority in his speech.

"Look MR DELLA RUBIO I'm not In Your house nor am I your slave or employee.Don't tell me what to do."The door bell rang and I got    20 dollars from the top shelf.The pizza delivery guy was here.

"You don't own me and after I drink the stupid serum you will not exist anymore in my life."I yanked the door open only to face someone who isn't the delivery guy.A dark smile plastered on his face which made my phone Crush onto the floor.
