Chapter 7

My opened my eyelids the following day.Ugh it wasn't a dream.He took me to school on a Sunday.

Griselda came in with a trey of food and set in on the bed as I sat up.

"I don't want to eat."I said sadly.She looked at me and gave me a warm smile.The truth was I just wanted to die.If I was his mate like Griselda said I was,why was he behaving like a dick.

"He was just mad that you left without his permission."As though she read my mind.Am I so obvious?.

"Don't worry he healed you."she added.Then it hit my mind.My back didn't hurt.
"How did he-"
"It's a werewolf thing."she added as she pored me some tea in a cup.I took a sip and man it tested good.
"Green tea...Helps Calm you down."she added.
I nodded and took another sip and before I knew it I finished the hole cup.

"Where is he?"I tucked my uncomfortable hair behind my ears.
"He left for work and told me to keep an eye on you.He said he will be back at 3 p.m."
I looked at the clock and it was now 12 p.m
I can't believe i slept for that long.

After I ate my branch I took a shower and went downstairs.I walked to the front door and reached for the doorknob but I couldn't seem to open the door.I think I was scared.

I walked into the kitchen and took out a bottle of water and finished it in one go.

"You look a little down today."Curtis stands a few meters away from me.I didn't even see him come in."what did he do?"he sighed.

"He whooped her."Griselda finally showed up.With a bouquet of flowers in her hands.
"I told him to take it easy."Curtis complained."I'm gonna give him a call."
"That won't be necessary."I snatched the phone from his hand.

"We don't wanna get him in a bad mood."I smiled weakly."I can't help it if he's throwing that Tantrum on you."Curtis speaks.I looked down trying not to make eye contact.

"Anyway we need to go.He told me to take you out for some fresh air while he's not here."he said as he took an apple from the fruit basket.Finally freedom.i was more than delighted.

"The drive to town only took us 30 minutes.It was then when I realized the house was near a river and on the outskirts of town.He pulled over at a shopping complex and we marched in.
"Hello sir can I help you?"one of the workers asked.I heard them whispering then the lady came,looked at me and smiled.That was creepy.
"This is a good friend of mine.She will help you with picking out clothes.Am not gonna be here with you so she will look after you.And hey...please don't run.Marcus will be angry...again."he said and headed straight for the exit.
"Follow me miss Knight."the lady said politely.

"So how does it feel dating the famous CEO?"she asked as I tried on a black Kate spade dress.
"CEO?"I asked.I was confused.
"Yeah...Mr Della Rubio.Don't worry I won't tell."she adjusted my belt."perfect."
"We are far away from dating."I said and she chuckled.Is she being for real?
"It's so cute...Most people would die for CEO Della Rubio."she said as she stepped back to take a look at my dress.
CEO?No wounded he's always in a bad mood.Its his life style to tell people what to do.'you will obey!'I thought to myself.

After trying on what felt like the whole store I was done and Curtis picked me up."I need you to read this book...It a book on werewolves.It teaches you how to control your self how to shift and the things you need to stay way from like mountain ash,vervain and wolfsbane."I took the book from his hand.
"I also added footnotes incase you missed the most important things and highlighted them too."he added.We where now on our way home. Wow that's going to be hard to get used to.I called it my home.
