We arrived back at the estate.I said nothing along the way that my jaw felt numb.probably not used to me being so quiet.The mysterious man didn't say a word.No one did.We where all caught up in the tension and trying to take in what had just happened.A war almost went on.Almost caused by me.I was then left alone in the study with the mysterious man.He took a seat right next to the fire and took a sip of the drink which he pored himself.I could now see his physic.He had brown eyes,a chisel shaped jaw and narrow bridged nose.His brows where thick,his hair neck length long and he had broad shoulders.He wore all black and most of his outfit was leather.
"Okay John snow you can't just bring me back here and not say a word."I break the silence.He looks up at me and slightly curves his lips upwards.He then stands up and close the space between us. Caressing my cheek softly and look at me like I'm some kind of prize.He inhales sharply and turners around.
"Make yourself at home,Daughter."My eyes widen.My heart races and I get all sort of knots in my stomach.
"What sort of fuckery is this?"He says nothing to me and walks away.
"I'm Liam Raphael Argent.Head of this estate,best hunter of this clan and,I believe,your father."I posed for a brief moment,trying to choose my next words carefully.
"All my life you knew where I was and you didn't bother to find me up until now?"I thought of the time Andy said he's been keeping an eye on me ever since I arrived at the orphanage.I tried holding back my tears but they were no match for my emotions.Liam sighed.
"There's nothing I can do to show you how sorry I am.But once I found out the type of people you chose to surround yourself with I had to act.I couldn't keep your mothers promise anymore."He stood to his full length and hugged me.I couldn't move.I was paralyzed.Is Everyone in my life a bunch of damn lairs?
I was deceived by what I thought was friendship my whole life,deceived into thinking my family didn't want me or where dead,deceived in all my relationships...is this the life I'm bound to live?A life of lies?
"Mothers promise?W-what are you talking about?"I said so softly.The strange man just looked me in the eyes and smiled faintly.
"You're just like her you know...Liv."My eyes teared up.Liv?
"wendy I...I don't know where to start from."
"You can start from the part where you abandoned me in front of a church."I say.He sighs heavily before walking up to me.
"It's not that simple kid.I truly didn't want to drag you in this."He puts both his hands on my shoulders.
I slap them away and walk to the window."Well we don't have to worry about that anymore."I chuckled sarcastically."I really thought I was alone but you where there all along.You and this big house and fancy cars and people to work for you."
"Wendy,like I said it wasn't so simple."
"Then let me understand why you gave me up."Tears started to run down my eyes.Liam sighed.
"It's because an Argent can never be with an Evans...Because it can never happen.You'r mother was a mortal with a great power.She could see the future."he sat down."When she found out she was pregnant she was happy.But on the night of your birth she had a vision.She saw you but except you where with that wolf."he spat.
"Tristan?"
"No,Marcus.Wendy she...She saw your death."My heart raced.My palms became sweaty."We thought by keeping you as far away from here will change the future but I fear we just encouraged it."
"When will this happen?"My voice almost breaking.Liam looks me in the eyes pitifully."Tell me I can take it."
"I don't know all I know is Marcus...Marcus is gonna be the death of you."
"But that's not gonna happen."Andy walks in."You said the vision isn't clear which means there's a chance she can survive the next blue moon."
"Blue moon?i die during the blue moon!"I was so scared.Liam started at Andy angrily.
"It's not going to happen."Andy says."I have a plan."
"Andy that's enough! The last time someone had a plan people ended up dying."
"So you're just gonna let her die?You said it yourself it's either she dies or Marcus dies there's only one way out of this."He rans his hand through his hair.
"If I can just talk to Tristan-"
"Balls!Tristan is one of them of course he'll side with Marcus."Andy interrupted."I'm sorry Wendy but we can't risk it."
"Sir,I know you signed a peace treaty with them but we broke it,what makes you so sure that they won't come here?"Liam rubbed his beard."Double the guards and get me Agora.Don't leave her alone
Not even for a second."he said.
"Again I'm a prisoner even in my own home."I say.Liam gave me a faint smile.I Just called this place my home.
Tristan pov
"Bustards!"I grab the coffee maker and throw it at the window.Mother trying to calm me down as My father and Marcus restrain me.I could feel my veins boiling,my heart racing and feeling like it's about to explode.
"You all stood there and watch them invade our territory and take MY MATE!"I flip the refrigerator.
"Dude chill." Mae says as she throws me agains the wall holding me back.Shes strong for a girl.i grab her and toss her at the other end of the counter table.Marcus now steps in and chock slams me to the ground.
"Stay down!"He ordered his eyes turning hazel.I try to get up but he's a lot stronger then me.Atlas I give up.My rage and anger turned into pain.Why am I so emotional all of a sudden?I start to cry.I felt hopeless and watched as they took my Mate away.
"What is happening to me."I sob and hug Marcus.I don't remember much after wards.
A week went by,then two and then tree and then a month.I was locked up in the shifting cell for my safety and everyone else's.I felt too tired to even fall asleep.i didn't eat for the first couple of days but Mother made sure that I did.
