Chapter 10
Tris
I woke the next morning to a slightly sore ache between my legs. Heat rushed to my cheeks when I realised why.
The events of last night came rushing back and a grin spread over my face. I touched my lips, with the faint feel of Tobias’s on them. We had finally done it.
I rolled over onto my side to gaze lovingly at Tobias. He had done everything right last night. His feather light touches and gentle motions were enough to make my heat beat increase.
His dark eyes that had captured me from day one, fluttered open. A lopsided grin took over his face when he saw me staring at him.
“G’morning beautiful.” His raspy morning voice sent a shiver down my spine.
“Hi,” I whispered, biting my bottom lip to keep from looking too crazy.
His fingers ghosted over my cheekbone as he stared at me, adoration clear in his eyes.
“What’s got you so happy Miss Prior?” he smirked.
“Well an extremely handsome man gave me the best night of my life last night, but apart from that nothing really.” I teased him, knowing he would do the same back.
“Oh really? Does he have, I don’t know, gorgeous dark eyes and a ravishing body?”
Giggling I replied, “Why yes he does…”
I only just realised how much I have been giggling, I'm becoming like an Amity schoolgirl.
He chuckled and placed a hand behind my neck, pulling me closer to him.
“Was it really that good?” he looked slightly flustered at his question.
I nodded immediately, “Tobias, it felt so good and so…right, it’s all I could’ve asked for.”
A smile graced his feature and I placed my lips to his in a simple peck.
Rolling over, I flipped my legs of off the bed and picked up Tobias’s shirt from the floor where I probably discarded it last night. Slipping it on I felt his eyes on me.
“What?” I smirked, turning around.
“Nothing,” he bit his lip, “I’m just looking at my gorgeous girlfriend, there’s nothing wrong with that now is there,” he got up and started walking towards me.
His manhood was on full show and I couldn’t help but raise my eyebrows at him being stark naked.
He kept advancing until out mouths were centimetres away from each other.
Suddenly I felt self-conscious about our activity last night.
“Um…Tobias? You, know, ahem, last night? Yeah, well was it good for you?” I muttered, completely flustered at my question.
He chuckled lowly, this warm breath fanning across my face making me weak at the knees.
“Tris, it was…incredible, I don’t know how I’m meant to keep my hands of off you after that,”
I grinned at his response. He wanted me too.

After getting ready and having some breakfast we had the rest of the day to ourselves. I was going to accept the serum-testing job but after seeing David at the party, I am going to give myself some breathing room.
We wandered down the corridors aimlessly, when we came across Christina, Zeke and Shauna.
“Hey guys, what’s up?” greeted Zeke cheerfully.
“Nothing actually, we’re kinda trying to find something to do.” Replied Tobias.
A mischievous grin settled on Zeke’s face, causing a painful reminder of Uriah to flash into my mind.
“Well you’re in luck, because we were just about to head back to Chicago and do a bit of zip lining – if you’re up for it, Four.”
Tobias smirked, “Let’s go buddy.”

Jumping on and off the trains filled my veins with the adrenaline I had missed dearly. Being back in Chicago brought back some painful memories but I pushed them back.
We arrived at the Hancock building quicker than I thought and all piled in to the elevator.
It stopped abruptly at around the 85th floor and Zeke explained that the elevator broke slightly so we have to walk the rest of the way.
I steamed ahead up the stairs with newfound energy coursing through my veins.
I reached the top before everyone else and stood with the wind rushing through my hair. The feeling of freedom caused butterflies to erupt into my stomach and I couldn’t wait to get started.
Christina caught up to me quite soon, panting.
“You know, you seem different today. What happened after the party?” she questioned after catching her breath.
I bit my lip as mine and Tobias’ night came flashing back. “Umm…”
She gasped, “YOU DIDN’T!!! You finally did some multiplying!”
I laughed, embarrassed at her outburst, “Shhh, jeez Chris, it’s not that big of a deal!”
“Uh yes it is! You got over your fear!” she said excitedly.
I chuckled motioning for her to be quiet as the others joined us.
“Right, everyone ready?” Zeke asked.
I nodded my head eagerly.
“Who’s first?”
“Me.”
“Well let’s get you strapped in, Stiff.” Shauna muttered.
I lie in the harness, head first and replied, “I don’t think you can call me that anymore, really Shauna?”
“Whatever, Stiff.” I smirked, “Ready? 3…2…1-“
She let go and I zipped down as fast as a bullet.
The wind whipped my face, causing tears to form in my eyes. I unfurled my arms and stretched them out to the sides.
All other thoughts flew from my mind as the beautiful Chicago passed below me.
A cry of joy broke past my lips as the zip line neared its end.
Halting abruptly, I undid the harness and fell out, landing on my feet.
After a few moments I was still grinning from ear-to-ear, until I heard the cries coming from, none other than Tobias.
I laughed at his fearful expression and when he came to stop, just in front of me, I helped him down and took him into a hug.
“How was that?” I asked.
“I…am not doing it again, lets just say that,” he smiled.
I smiled back at him, “I’m proud of you, babe.”
He nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck and whispered in my ear, “Hm, pet names I see? I have to admit I quite like it.”
I slapped him chest, playfully and pressed my lips to his.
