so when i start writing a new part, i'll rewrite the last sentence from the last part to refresh your memory :)

as i got closer i could hear someone crying. i walked over cautiously and saw the figure of someone i have seen before.

someone too familiar.

"hello?" I asked out into the air, slightly nervous.

the figure stood up to face me, as soon as i saw their face iestood there paralyzed. i couldn't move, it was too late to run now.

brent.

"ash?!" he asked, slowly standing up and coming towards me, i tried to run but my feet wouldn't move and tears slowly slipped down my cheeks subconsciously. he grabbed me and pulled me into a hug, i gasped for air but couldn't get any. was he planning on suffocating me? that was probably his way to get rid of me.

"your choking me" i managed to squeak. he immediately pulled away and stepped back.

"i missed you so much" he said through his sobs, he looked at me with sad eyes but he wasn't going to fool me this time. i slowly started to turn around figuring this would be the best time to run.

"you're leaving me again?" he asked.

he's so annoying.

"leave" was all i had the courage to say. i started up the trail to get back home when i felt someone grab me from behind and drag me into the woods.

"leaving so soon?" i heard him say, an evil smirk plastered across his face.

i struggled and tried to bite him or do whatever, anything to get free of his grasp.

there was no ellie here to save me now.

my breathing started to shallow as we got deeper into the woods.

this was it, i was going to die. i had just survived a near death experience only to die a month later.

call me extra but accident, i realized life was so short. i said a mental goodbye to everyone, mom, dad, annie, abby, alex, alexis, my new friend ethan, and i didn't forget to send my hatred to grayson.

"looks like we're here" brent said slowly, he picked me up over his head and threw me onto the forest floor. i heard a crack and could feel pain surge through my body. i screamed but i knew no one could hear me.

i looked over to see brent walking away, he was leaving me here to get eaten by the bears. i couldn't move. i felt my phone buzz beside me, it had probably fell out of my pocket, how did i still have wifi out here? or had it switched to data automatically?

i looked over at it from the corner of my eye, a tear slipped down my cheek. i wish i could answer and ask her to call my mom or for someone to come help me. i wished.

he had done this before. he had done this to me and the girl he had cheated on me with. he was part of some cult or something. he was dangerous. i had let the wrong person into my life.

i slowly opened my eyes and looked up to see the whole forest bathed in sunlight, it was beautiful. i tried to pull myself up but i still couldn't move. i looked over at my phone from the corner of my eye.

i started to cry harder. suddenly i heard leaves crunching and looked over to see my worst nightmare.
