when was this day ever going to end?

she told me that this guy was dangerous, i had to get him out of this place. not only for the safety of her but also of our moms, ethan and her sisters.

i ran to find a nurse but could hear feet slapping the floor behind me, i glanced over my shoulder to see him following me.

shit.

i had to lead him out of this place. i made a quick right and ran out the back door of the hospital, i kept running. i have no idea where i am going right now.

i stopped to take a few breaths, putting my hands on my knees and bending over. i looked up to see the guy running towards me and someone was behind him. ethan.

"yo e! over there!" i yelled, pointing towards the woods.

we knew these woods inside out. we could run in there, lose him and come back out. sthan nodded and changed his direction. soon all 3 of us were heading towards the woods.

"im gonna kill you both!" i could hear the guy yelling from behind us.

we kept running for a few minutes, soon ethan was almost beside me and that guy, what was his name again?, wasn't far behind us.

"dammit!" i heard ethan say, he fell on the forest floor and held his ankle.

i grabbed his arm and slung it around my neck and started to jog but it was too slow. the adrenaline and panic made me loose my footing and i felt myself fall, my nose meeting a rock on the forest floor.

"gray!!" i heard ethan yell.

i looked up and through hazy vision was able to see him get dragged farther into the woods by that same guy. he wasn't gonna get away with this.

i tried to stand up but immediately fell back down. my head was throbbing and i was seeing everything hazy and in double. i looked back to see find ethan but they had both disappeared.

i screamed out into the air, letting out all my pain.

i hope the guys are okay, its been an hour and they haven't come back.

i knew i shouldn't have told them to do anything. brent is dangerous, what if he does something to one of them?!

"isn't it nice that brent and the boys went to go hang out?" my mom said, beaming.

i really wanted to scream

"glad they're making friends. grayson's been really quiet these past couple of months" lisa replied

after an extremely awkward silence, the nurse walked in to change the clips and other hospital stuff. "evening" she said nodding her head and getting to work.

after the nurse had been in the room for a few moments, lisa spoke. "have you seen my sons?"

"no, i didn't, they all ran out the back door and haven't come back since. sorry"  the nurse replied quietly, finishing her work and nodding to us before leaving the room.

"that's strange..." lisa said to herself before standing up, "i'm going to go look for them, rake care, and you too ashley" and with that, she left.

it had been 30 minutes after lisa had left and I was finally dozing off until she barged in through the doors, tears streaming down her face. my mom immediately stoop up and rushed towards her and i sat up straight.

abby and annie had gone home and had to attend school whilst alex had went to stay with our grandparents.

"lisa! what happened?" my mom asked, shocked. lisa collapsed to the floor, "i c-can't fi-find them!" she said through her tears.

oh god.

"did you call the police?" my mom asked, rubbing lisa's back.

"y-yes" she stammered.

what if brent did something to them?

i've been walking for an hour, looking for ethan.

my biggest fear was that the guy had done something to him. i can't lose my twin brother just like how i lost her last year.

i have to find him.

i kept walking and walking until i saw a body laying in leaves surrounded by a circle of twigs. as i got closer i saw that it was ethan. my heart was hammering in my chest as i reached over check his pulse.

thank god he was still alive.

i felt my body fall to the floor as someone pushed me. i looked up and saw the guy hovering over me with lighter in hand, bringing it closer to the twigs and leaves around ethan.

"stop!" was all i could yell but he simply sent me a smirk and laughed.

this cannot be happening right now.

"too late" he laughed

i watched in horror as he lit the twigs causing a chain reaction with ethan in the middle.

"no! stop! " was all i could yell before my face was met with a rock, my eyes rolling into my head and everything went black.
