i sat on my bed and basically cried myself to sleep, yes i know, i get emotional really easily.

i had no one left here

grayson hated my guts, ethan clearly doesn't even care. alexis, who I thought was my best friend, didn't even bother to tell me that she was even in new jersey hanging out with one of my former best friends.

i really hate my life right now.

"ashley, wake up!" annie screamed into my ear, she has been better these few days becuase alex had come home.

even though he's younger than her, they love each other dearly and he confronted one of the kids that bothered her.

lets just say they won't bother her ever again.

i groaned and sat up, glancing at the time i facepalmed. i'm so late.

i hurried and got dressed in some black leggings and an oversized sweater that one of my friends gave to me. i slipped into my shoes and grabbed an apple on my way to the door

"bye mom!" i yelled into the living room, running out without waiting for an answer.

i shivered slightly as the chilly morning air hit my face, i started to walk and was freaking out internally because i was usually never late

i put some headphones in and turned on my favourite song as of right now, black swan by bts. 

i moved my head to the beat and focused on my feet, making sure i was aware if i was on the street or not since last time i ended up in the hospital

i looked both ways before crossing the street and as soon as i saw the school come into view, i broke into a run.

i managed to get to my locker right when the bell rang, panting as i grabbed my books and headed to my first class.

as i was about to walk in, a thought dawned upon me. i had forgotten that i share my first class with none other than my former friend, ethan dolan.

to make matters worse, he sat right behind me.

i inhaled deeply, giving myself a short pep talk before holding my head up high and walking to my desk without even glancing at him

i quickly got out my stuff for class, the boring lesson began and five minutes in i felt myself zoning out, i stared at the teachers neck tie, the images seemed to be dancing around

"ash, you're the bestest friend i could ever ask for, i didn't mean to say all that stuff to you. i was just mad" i heard a voice whisper behind me

i fought my urge to turn and look him in the eye.

fuck it.

i slowly turned around and looked in dead in the eye, he send me a sad smile and he looked like he truly meant it

I sighed before giving him a smile, he grinned and i smiled wider at the grin that i missed oh so dearly.

"by the way, gray likes you!" he added, laughing.

i looked at him, horrified.

"uh-wake up, class is over" i heard a voice say, i felt a series of taps on my shoulder and slowly lifted my head up from the desk

i squinted at the sun hitting me in the face and saw that the class was empty except for ethan standing beside me, his hand hovering over my shoulder

that was all a dream.

the bigger question was, why was grayson in it?

So that was today's chapter! I hope you enjoyed Sorry if it was short but we have December break coming up and I assure you there will be alot more longer chapters then. :)
