15- Reviving An Old Team

"You found the blades!?" Allura asked as she and Katie talked in the corner, away from the others. Katie shook her head and held up three fingers.

"We only found three. Mine, Lance's, and Keith's," she replied. "So will you held bring the lions out and Lance's blade?" Allura took a moment to think. Katie turned to look out the window. She caught the sight of blue hair behind a tree. A general.

"Of course I'll help. Katie, what are you looking at?" Allura asked, poking Katie's shoulder. She leaned over to try to catch a glimpse. Katie pushed her back.

"It's nothing of importance. Just a squirrel. Now, let's get to doing this stuff," she replied, ready to have a weapon to use against the enemies. Allura nodded with a raised brow and the two pulled Keith and Lance from the group.

Katie pulled Keith by his jacket while Allura pulled Lance by his ear. The others watched the four go off, but made no moves to follow. Lance cried out in pain until they made it to the backyard and Allura let go. Katie took a minute to admire the beautiful scenery.

Maybe it was her powers surging with the overflowing nature around her, but she felt more at home in that spot then she did anywhere else. That also might have to do with the institution. With the generals watching her, it felt like it did. 

She was allowed to stay at home a little while after her brother's and father's disappearance. Though, they made sure to have eyes on her at all times. She couldn't help but feel that trapped feeling creeping up again. She shivered and turned to the others.

"Allura, do your magic princess thing-y," Katie said earning a 'what' look from the girl. She gave her a smile and Allura got started. Keith and Katie placed their blades on a picnic table.

"I remember what my father taught me when I was younger. It was around the time he created the weapons. It must be the thing that sets the lions free. Lance go get Sapphire while I try to set the other lions free," Allura informed, placing a hand over the daggers.

Lance rushed off and Allura began muttering something under her breath. Katie held her own breath as the blades turned a bright white. A ball of light flew from them and landed on the ground. Katie's breath was let out in astonishment. 

The light turned into two lions. One green and one red. The green one must've been Katie's lion, Emerald. The red had to be Keith's lion, Crimson. "Goodness. I thought I'd never leave!" Crimson roared, rolling on the ground. Emerald scoffed at him and walked to Katie.

"Its good to be free," she said, purring at Katie's feet. Compared to Crimson, who obviously was a hot-headed rule breaker, Emerald was smart and daring. The two were so different. Katie couldn't help but laugh at Crimson's face. He was offended at Emerald's attitude towards him.

"We've been sealed away for years and the first thing you do to me is scoff at me!" he growled, fixing himself. Keith joined in on Katie's laugh. Just then Crimson was attacked Sapphire, who seemed to be a blue flash for a moment. 

The two lions rolled on the ground laughing, enjoying their reunion. The two didn't say any words, just laid next to each other for the next few minutes. Allura called Sapphire to her side. The lion listened and reluctantly left Crimson's side.

Allura also preformed some strange incantation on Sapphire to get the blade to appear. After she completed it, they all three had lions and blades. "What do we do now?" Katie asked, hoping Allura had the answer.

"We locate the remaining two lions. That's what my necklace is for," she said and motioned for them to go inside. "Everyone's waiting for us." Katie purposely wanted them to see Allura extract the lions and blade. She wanted them to know. "I can't believe we're reviving the Voltron Guard."

Is that what they were called? Are they now the Voltron Guard? Katie didn't have time to think, she rushed up to her room. She's expecting a visit from someone. When she opened the door, that blue haired woman was already on her bed. How they kept getting in, she didn't know.

"It looks like you knew I'd be here. I'm guessing you purposely showed me that little magic your friend pulled. Why?" the general asked, getting straight to the point. Katie took a deep breath. Here came the hard portion.

"I want them to be able to be apart of the castle after Lotor turns for the better good. If they become the Voltron Guard then I know they can remain in the castle. I already know that I will have to leave since suspicion in on me. You'll turn me in, but at least let me secure their spot in the castle by doing this!" Katie asked, hoping for the best.

She had two ways of using this: Use the blades to defeat the generals or give the others a spot in the castle. Katie was aware of her fate every since Hunk told Shiro. If he would be alone, then she'd make sure he wasn't before she leaves. 

"This is troublesome. You sure do have a heart of gold," the general mumbled, obviously bothered by her request. "Fine. Secure their spot as the Voltron Guard and we'll complete our job. Don't worry we'll make sure they do become useful in Lotor's eyes."

"Great. I'll need your help finding the last two cubs. They are sealed behind strange doors that need a gem to open it. Oh, and after I'm gone set Samuel Holt free for Matt. He's locked away in the castle," Katie asked, hoping she'll agree.

"You sure to ask for a lot of favors. I'm not a generous person, but I'll do it. Anything to help Lotor," she answered and turned to the window. She opened the hatch and jumped out. "I'll search for them and have Zethrid tell you when we find them." Katie nodded her head.

The lions were all she needed to get before she left them behind. She would help these friends of hers before she left.

Okay. I think I got dis. Just one more chapter of this (because I realized I was actually missing two chapters not one for some reason) and three chapters of Abducted. I GOT DISSS (hopefully)
